So I've told someone that I am on the lookout for cheap flights and they recommended the website IKnowThePilot.com.au
They are advertising deals such as:
Melbourne to New Zealand (return) $188
Melbourne to Bali (return) $167
Melbourne to Philippines (return) $239
I can't find much about it online, does anyone know if it is legitimate or has had experience booking through it?

do a google and work out if it is dodgy.
Bali Return is from Darwin for 167, not MEL. Do some research before you post!

Its not even a booking site? I know the pilot is the same as any other flight deal blog/site (secretflying, fly4free etc) They post deals for flights like deals on OzBargain and link you to the booking agent via I Want That Flight. eg, Expedia, STA, Airline homepages etc)
they only forward you to actual company websites for booking…so it is legit

IKnowThePilot.com.au is our "deals" site - set up & owned by IWantThatFlight.com.au. We've been running for around 18 months now.
We post 1-3 deals a day. Mostly airfare, but also hotel deals as well. Its totally free
We will often post deals on IKnowThePilot.com.au before posting here on OzBargain. Eg, the recent deal to Japan was posted on IKnowThePilot.com.au 12 hours earlier:

As we have access to all the flight data that goes through IWantThatFlight.com.au we are usually able to find deals faster than others. Eg, we were the first to find the Virgin Australia error fares last year and also the cheap Philippines Airlines deals to USA/Canada in Jan.
