  • Official DJI Australian warranty? Is this the CN version?

    • +2

Per the title, it's Australian stock. I rang Mr Toys yesterday prior to CRACKA20 going live and they assured me it's eligible for local DJI warranty. Not only that but there's a 30 day return period, which should satisfy most people.

Now thats a bloody ripper of a deal

  • +1

this is the lowest price for AU stock to date.

BS, was $1,690.40 delivered yesterday at DigiDirect, with the same code :P

    Was gone in 2.75 seconds.

    • Digidirect is AU stock or grey import?

      • Au stock I'd say

      • +1

Google digidirect. They have physical stores in multiple states around Australia.

Also this is stated on their ebay listings.

"Do digiDIRECT products come with official Australian manufacturers' warranty?

Absolutely. Warranty is 12 - 24 months (dependent upon manufacturer) back-to-base official Australian warranty. We are among the few on-line suppliers with direct accounts with the Australian distributors of leading digital brands, including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax just to name a few. We do not Grey Import any of our products."

    • Digi put more stock up later last night which I found shortly after missing out on the MrToys one. There's still 5 left.

      1690 or 1698 with express postage :)

    • Actually the postage is only $3, not $12 like I paid, making this only $1682.20…I'll update the post.

      • $18 to Perth! Still so much cheaper than anywhere else, and I guess cash rewards cancels it out.

  • +2

An additional $27.29 off with Cash Rewards, making it $1663.91.

Math to save some of your time with the calc. :)

Couldn't bribe the local firies with a couple of cartons to perform a bit of "training"?

I Bought last night at 11.59 pm Stand alone at 1291 and I thought that was the last one that I can get nearby. Today I received a phone call from Mr Toy for confirming address and double confirmed with them. It is all OZ stock with local warranty. So far so good that i can say in here.

    • I was impressed they called up and made sure everything was correct with the address. I've ordered similarly priced items before and not had the seller contact me, so it was a pleasant surprise.

  • all gone

    • Cheers, reported it. It'll be interesting to see if they restock once again…

  • Anyone got a link to mr toys Mavic (non flymore), searched their store but because its out of stock cant find it. Hoping to find it in stock later on tonight

    • I bought last night and that was indicating last one ~~~ Then they restock today….LoL

    • Mavic standalone is back in stock, but the additional 5% off has gone, it's now $1699 list price.

    • Cheers mate! Great news for potential buyers!

  • None left 😌
    Found this though… https://pay.ebay.com.au/xo?action=view&sessionid=66140991601…

Should I wait for Mr Toys to restock?

  • i just checked, price is $1775

    • Price is up $100 as the extra 5% off has ended but it's back in stock.

  • +2

price dropped back to $2,099. So, with discount, it costs $1,680. Finally bought one. thanks OP

    • Check out the revisions to the post, I've had to revoke it, reinstate, change the price up & down numerous times!!

  • Pre-discount price now showing as $2199 … description section still $2099 … why!?

    • +2

The 5% discount was being added & removed with each restock, not sure why. I would suggest having a look tomorrow morning, as I doubt they work Sunday, and may indeed restock again.

  • Has anyone received their drone or a shipping notification yet?
The ebay listing had delivery ETA of 7th to 14th June, but as yet I haven't received any notification that it has been shipped.

  • I received the shipped notification on Saturday(ordered Friday morning), AUS post tracking says information received and processed on Monday. there are no updates after that and it was supposed to be delivered today. I called Mr Toys and Ryan told me that he will cancel and refund me as Aus post will take another week to deliver. Called them again and I was told by Ross that they can't refund me as AUS post doesn't know where the item is (and they have requested RTS) and they have sent it as unregistered/no signature on delivery (which is pretty stupid on their part for a 2000 dollar item). All I can do now is to wait for it to show up or do a PayPal dispute past due delivery date (7th-14th june). Should have used Ted's cameras deal :(

  • Ouch, that sucks. I only ordered Friday afternoon so I guess I shouldn't expect it till late June.

    • it could just be a mess up at Australia Post so it's highly likely that it's just me being unlucky rather than every other mavic purchase from Toy World.

      • Got mine on Monday, it was ordered Thursday & sent Friday. Flew it all day today…I'm in love haha

        • Update: Got mine just a few minutes ago. Looking at that mavic deal form last night for 950, it seems mavic 2 is coming end this year for sure.

        • @ak7610:

To be expected, they seem to be mimicking the mobile phone business model of a new version each year, but with only minor improvements. Something ground breaking like the Mavic can't be improved that much - lateral & rear collision avoidance perhaps but why wait just for that & to pay the premium (read: increased) price.

Also, that deal from last night is not for Aussie stock, if you add in GST it's not that far under the lowest retail price seen during CRACKA20. I considered getting one from Shanghai recently but the warranty considerations forced my hand to buy local stock.
