I think I read somewhere that Witcher 3 had higher sales for the first quarter this year than same time last year, so they probably won't need to reduce it more to increase revenues. I think it's a fair price for the GOTY Edition :) You are more likely to find it cheaper on CDKeys though. Cheapest deal posted previously was ~$28 @ CDKeys via GoG rather than Steam which matters for some people.

Not strange at all! You'd get steam achievements/trading cards etc which you wouldn't otherwise.
So, does the Steam version have more mod content (from Steam Workshop) or its all the same and just depends if ppl prefer Steam or DRM free
Don't think there's steam workshop for Witcher 3, so it'd just be DRM differences. Correct me if I'm wrong people.
