So fugly…
No you're fugly!
Are there any other sofa's on sale in store or online? The website only had 2 for sale and the 3 seater was sold out lol
Isn't Ozbargain a great place!
I was planning to start shopping for a new sofa in the EOFY sales - and now I don't have to!
Bought a dark grey one in Brissy - Carseldine has good stocks of both dark and light grey in the two seater. They look pretty good quality, and $80 delivery charge is reasonable.
Had a long chat with the manager - they're quite a firm seat, so if you're looking for something that you sink into, probably not for you.
I actually think they look good - a nice retro look!
I agree, I think it looks great.
@OP- what's the composition of the fabric?
The fabric is 100% linen.
Are you sure about that?
The page for the sofa says "Linen look", which I assume is polyester, and when I spoke to the Carseldine store yesterday, when I ordered one, the sales person indicated that it was a high quality linen look polyester.
Maybe I'm wrong - I hope so, linen would be great at that price :)
The fabric is not linen. As you say edwardcr, it's "linen look". We bought the 3 seater light grey last week. Quite happy with it, but the material is definitely a polyester made to look like linen. Feels nothing like cotton.
We bought the 3 seater light grey one last week and have it set up in our living room. Also checked out / sat on the dark grey & two seater varities while in the Penrith display store. Super quick review for anyone considering:
- 99% sure the material is not linen, as the website says, it's "linen look" (feels like a polyester). We're happy with it though.
- As per edwardcr's comment, it's a firm seat – the opposite of a couch you sink into.
- Construction is not high-grade – I unintentionally put my weight (I'm a regular size) on the arm on one side to move myself and the internal structure gave off a loud cracking sound under my elbow. It seems to be fine, but it feels like something slightly sturdier than balsawood is packed between two sheets of ply and open at the top under the material covering.
All in all, we're satisfied with it for the price and like the look of it, but I would not have paid the RRP for the quality and materials.
Very similar, for $216: https://www.vidaxl.com.au/e/8718475941484/light-grey-2-seate…
