Best Dealer or Price on 2017 Tiguan 110TSI

I'm looking to buy a new Tiguan and trying to find a dealer.

I'm after a 110TSI Comfortline in Black. On Carsales for around $37k but was hoping to pay less

Happy to buy interstate and transport if its cheaper. Based in Brisbane

Does anyone have recent sales or dealers they recommend?

  • Have you been into a dealer?

I haven't yet due to work but will do

I wanted to be armed with a true price in mind. Have you any intel?

      • Did you atleast have a test drive?
Also have you finalized on the colour, options you would like to have?

        • Yes, 110TSI in Black and maybe Driver Assistance Package if the price is right

Not sure whats being implied here but Yes I'm ready to buy one today.

This is a run around for my wife. Just need to pick one up at the right price

        • @fuelrw: if you are decided then just drop into a dealer and ask for a quote will the options you need.
if its $37K then you could start your negotiation by asking the best price if you place the order the same day or by saying you have budget of $30k and see if the dealer has any options for the price level. Its upto your negotiation skills.
Also keep in mind that finance , trade in etc will affect the drive away price.

  • would be keen to understand what others are paying for this car too

you really what to buy a vw after the vw emissions scandal????

    • 110TSI is a Petrol.

It's currently the best car in the class.

      • 110 TSI is not affected by the emission issue but many customers are turning away from VW as they cheated!…

        • It wouldn't stop me from buying a car.

        • @JB1: It would stop many people when they see the hit they take in resale value. Some VW Petrols engines were also found to be cheating, probably a matter of time before more are found out.

        • @hellbound:

          Cars depreciate anyway.

I would say VW would have above average resale.. sure not to Lexus, Porsche or Subaru standards but good nonetheless.

  • Anyone got any pricing recently?? Any intel appreciated

    • I bought one end of last year. full options

  • Well I had a Tiguan 132 tsi with dsg before. And man I was gladed that I traded it in. If you like expensive servicing cost, like $500 for a typical servicing like oil and filter change. Or if you like to keep watching the oil level in the engine because it will start thinking that it needs to burn a liter of oil every 2000km. Buy it!!! I'm telling you now, if you have oil consumption issues they won't even look at it until it is consuming more than a liter per 2000km because it is the specification written in the user manual, which is something you won't able to read until you bought the car. Turbo seal went at 80k and the dag jerks after 30k. Btw Mine likes to hum when driven in the rain. Again, complained and VW blames tyre noise. Changed all tyres to a completely different brand and the car still hums.

Anyway I drives a Toyota now… no burning oil no jerking gearbox no humming in the rain and $150 service….
