Seems to be $5 through steam with some coupon/discount if you have the previous. Unless anyone knows how to get if free through steam if you have the original.

    • Thanks! I've updated the post just for Xbox One as a freebie.
Have included details on the $5 offer on Steam, still a good deal!

    • Was t it always a $5 discount for the upgrade? Sure I read that at launch.

      terrific title but.

      • From what I can find it does look like it, still a great deal for those who play on PC!

Awesome!! I wish more games were like this in an era of a million versions of the same game.

  • is this only PC or for xbox too ? i bought for xbox

edit: yeah it's coming up as free for me too

    • I think it's only Xbox, I read somewhere that it was for PC but from what I can find it's only free on Xbox.

well i got thrown by the links to steam in the OP now so that's why i thought it might be PC only actually, seems like it's both? win/win

        • Nice one! :)

  • cheers OP !

  • Could anyone who has played this comment on whether this game is suitable for a 7 year old? And also if it is worth full price. Getting my son an XB1 and trying to find games that are both age-appropriate and that he would be capable of playing competently.

I think it's a tough question to answer as it's open to interpretation depending on the child. Game is rated PG but probably best to check out some video reviews with game play to determine if it is suitable for your 7 year old?

This is a game my 8 year old nephew would probably love, but he's been playing similar games or fantasy games for a few years now.

  • What's the difference between this and the original?

      Differences between the 2 versions:

      NEW IN THE DEFINITIVE EDITION
      • Packed with new and additional content: New areas, new secrets, new abilities, more story sequences, multiple difficulty modes, full backtracking support and much more!
      • Discover Naru’s past in two brand new environments.
      • Master two powerful new abilities – Dash and Light Burst.
      • Find new secret areas and explore Nibel faster by teleporting between Spirit Wells.

      • Thanks. I'll pay the extra 5 and finish it.

And, yes, obviously I didn't bother to read OP.

        • I added this the description after you asked in case others were wondering! :)

  • probably would of missed this if i didnt see this so thanks OP

  • Thanks OP. Love this game.

  • This is what I was hoping they'd offer for Steam customers.

  • Thanks OP! Would totally have missed it if it wasn't for this post!

  • I own Ori on xbox one but it still comes up as $6 for me :(

    • Deal might be expired, will mark it in case others can't get it anymore.
