  • 'Has all the bands' requirement makes the phone you're looking for extremely expensive. You're looking at top tier stuff like OnePlus 3 or 3T, LG V20, Huawei mate 9, ZTE Axon 7 and Oppo F3

The phones above all support B28 (Telstra / Optus band) and as well as band 5 (Voda)

The Moto Z Play is probably your best bet for local stock, no bloatware (stock) and it will also get future updates. Might even get Android O. Massive battery too.

    • Looking at this for now because price and crazy ram SoC.. any reasons not go with it or why?

      LeEco Le Max 2 Pro X820 6GB/64GB $228.99 US

I guess I can invest in some more quality long anker powerline+ usb to usb c cables. My only fear is bad quality signal or poor reception.

Don't want to spend almost double for just reception might as well get a s6 or higher or something.

      • If your current phone doesn't have Band 28, then the Le Eco will get roughly the same signal.
Band 28 is a nice to have for most people.

        • What's the cheapest band 28 phone available. Or a good recommended one for budget.

        • @AlienC:
At your spec level, there is none..
          More mid-range specs;
If you could still find one, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition/Kate
          ASUS Zenfone 3 from Taiwan.
          Moto G4

I'm interested in cheap B28 phone, but it has to be 4G/3G dual-SIM capable.

Only phone that I know of with 6GB RAM is the OnePlus 3/3T and sadly that's already out of your budget.

Most of the chinese phones are great, but their band support and warranty here in Aus can be hit or miss.

But for the rest of your requirements, I would recommend the Moto G5 Plus if you can stretch out your budget an extra $50 or wait for a sale. They were less then $350 a few weeks ago from the Good Guys. See here

    5.2 inch 1080p screen
    Micro SD support
    Dual Sim
    SD625 - good midrange SoC
    Runs on mostly stock Android.
Works in Aus - so you'd get all the bands
    Uses Micro USB cable.

    • Might settle for the le eco letv max 2 pro.. the sd820 might be worth the cable hassle and no audio jack.. just need to find some blue tooth headphones or earphones now m
