    again?

    • +7

Yesterday was grey, today is neon!

  • +4

Thanks OP. When I woke up this morning, I wasn't expecting that I would be getting a Switch today.

  • +1

Awesome thank you so much - was disappointed that I missed the offer on the grey console but the neon one is the one I actually wanted so this is a pleasant surprise.

  • Well, I just impulse bought this. Thanks OP!

  • Me too. Thanks OP.

  • 40mins left for those looking to buy. Looks like an hourly deal promo

    • Don't buy within the last 5 mins also because people had checkout problems yesterday within the last 5.

  • -2

I'll get a Switch day one since there's never any deals on Nintendo console until they stop making games for them.

<400 numerous times in the first couple of months.

    Well (profanity).

At least on the plus side, I ended up trading a bunch of useless shit toward the Switch and got a 60% overall bonus I'd have otherwise missed if not trading toward it.

Good deal OP, I've sent it to a friend on the fence, hopefully he checks his Facebook in time.

Actually, it doesn't seem to be working at the moment. My friend can't get it into the cart and neither can I, and when it says it's in the cart, the direct link to the cart doesn't work. Sheeeet, hope he gets it in time.

Apparently it's sold out. Shit. Good luck to anyone else if we're just getting (profanity) on though.

  • +1

Cheers matey. Missed yesterday's as well. Good work

  • i live in melbourne. what if my switch breaks early, for warranty purposes do i send it to kogan or to nintendo?

    • +1

Cross that bridge when you get there. No point stressing over it, unless if your gut is telling you that it will break during the warranty period 😆

  • +1

    sold out

  • The end

  • Cheers OP! Missed out yesterday but I ideally wanted the Neon colour anyway.

USE THIS ONE! THIS IS STILL AVAILABLE AT THE TIME I POST THIS! HURRY!

  • +5

fk me not again…I missed it again!

  • Was looking at a sold out page for about 10 minutes, but I just refreshed and now it is still saying there is low stock.

  • Thanks OP!Neon deal is even better than grey deal for me.

  • Got one .. thanks … Been waiting for it to be < $400 :)

    • Did you buy it just now? The purchase button doesn't seem to be working.

      • Nah I got it just after the deal was posted … but took a few mins to post here on ozb :)

  • +2

I reckon a few people added it to their cart then didn't follow through. As each session expires the unit is made available again. That's the most likely reason for being intermittently sold out IMO

  • +3

I just had to wash my car instead of hitting F5 on the OZB home page..

  • +1

wtf, i just cooked for my lunch and i missed again???

  • +10

Looking forward to missing tomorrow's Kogan Switch deal

  • Did this deal pop up at the same time yesterday? Should I check kogan at the same time tomorrow?

    • but there are only 2 versions of the switch FeelsBadMan

    • hoping tomorrow will be the nintendo classic mini :)
as i missed out so many times….

  • +1

Did anyone get any screen shots for price match… Or receipts

    • +1

They would say that this was a limited time clearance price, and that they don't match clearance prices.

      • +1

        Can try still :)

      • +1

And they a retailer would claim that screenshot has been photoshopped and so faked. Considering that they can't verify the price right now as it's out of stock and there's no price listed on the web page so they can't verify that screenshot picture file. You've got no chance of any retailer honouring that. I'm just being realistic.

        • Add to that the retailer and web address aren't there.

        • Since Dicksmith gone now Jbhifi and Ebgames is becoming more strict on there price match. Now im hearing lots of bs excuses to not to price match. Eg; naah mate we only price match within the same area-must have physical store-must have stock-no this clearance price-where is abn-sorry this is online shop only(i showed them physical store in google view)-my manager said no-we dont have it in stock(i have it in my hand!). I dont bother trying now :\

        • screenshot has been photoshopped

Why would you bother photoshopping it when you can edit the page code?

    • Considering that it was a limited time offer, not sure what you're basing the price match on.

  • +2

    Missed again god damnit

  • Lol bought it this weekend for 439 oh wells. Just better make sure I get 75 bucks of use from it.

  • Has anyone else still got processing at warehouse on their order?

    • Yes, says the expected dispatch date is 22 May 2017 (today)

    • me, too. Hope they will dispatch today.

      • Mine dispatched. Check yours.

        • Mine still havent. sad.

        • @Mike33:

Hasn't dispatched? If not, contact Kogan and ask them to dispatch your order ASAP, or you will probably be getting it monday/tuesday.

        • @OzBMate629:
Just sent them a msg. Hope they wont ignore me.

        • +1

@Mike33: I emailed them yesterday about the Grey one purchased on the weekend. website says it should have been dispatched on the 22nd, but the response I got back from them was that mine isnt going to ship till June 7th :/ so apparently I need to wait till the restock comes in. Purchased while still 'in-stock' but apprently it wasn't. This makes me sad……

Hopefully these neon folks wont have the same issue…..

        • @MikeU:

Same issue .. just got the email advising it wont be shipped until June 7th

Got the option to cancel my order for a refund or continue and receive a $20 off voucher for some other purchase on Kogan

blah … very disappointing for them to sell stuff when they don't have the stock, but I guess my expectations are too high for Kogan

        • @cobyau: I got the same email saying mine won't be dispatched until June 7th as well, did you specifically ask for any sort of compensation or did they just offer it to you?

        • @CodeXD:
They just offered … but I had logged an inquiry asking wtf was up with my order

        • +1

@cobyau: Ditto. Enquiry. Response with voucher.

    • Mine now says dispatched 22 May 2017. No shipping notification yet though.

    • +1

Hmmm. Expected dispatch 22/05. Still nothing and no meaningful reply from Kogan.

      • Damn, that sucks dude. Just give them another day and if not, give them a call, and tell them you want it to be dispatched immediately.

    • Still waiting on mine to be dispatched :( … Guess I wont be getting it for the weekend

Have logged a inquiry ticket with them asking wtf is going on

    • +1

Is everyone having issues actually getting theirs? Mine was "dispatched" 22 May and I have a tracking number but the number is still invalid

      • Yes. The same with me. Dispatch was on 22nd May and there is still no valid tracking number. I bought two games and a case as well, on a later order, they were "dispatched" from Melbourne on the 23rd May, and were delivered this morning. I was just about to contact Kogan, but "chat" is not available yet.

      • Yup, sane here. I hope it comes in this friday at the most.

      • I have a reply from Kogan. Not holding my breath that we see them delivered this week

We had just received an update from our Senior Team that there has been a slight delay with the activation of Australia Post tracking numbers for orders that were dispatched on the 22nd of May. However, I can confirm that the tracking number provided to you was the correct tracking number for your order. Please give it a few hours as this issue should be fixed soon.

        • It's now more than a few hours. Still no AusPost tracking.

        • @barryquinn: Yep, I have contacted them again.

        • +1

          @Timbo94:
Even though they have said "local stock", maybe it's coming from HK, or they have made a bulk purchase from Nintendo, and are in trouble for discounting!

        • @barryquinn:
If you can contact nintendo on phone and ask them if Kogan is a authentic reseller for Australian Nintendo Switches, and they say they aren't, and they purchase from Hong Kong, then you can report them to the ACC.

        • @barryquinn: A few hours is 23 hours to kogan ;) /s

        • @barryquinn: They can't be in trouble from Nintendo. Whatever they have spent to buy in bulk or whatever amount they bought, nintendo has, and nintendo don't have any control over how much they sell it for, they just set the price.

        • Well my update is that my order is now expected to be dispatch on the 7th June.

        • @5cooter: Oh, rip my dude. Sorry that happened to you, you may have been one of the ones that got it the second batch, and now they have to order new ones to send to you. :(

        • +1

Well, after 21 minutes on hold to Kogan, my tracking number is now active (although not by directly clicking through the shipping email). Last activity was it arriving in Victoria yesterday morning. I'm in Brisbane so fingers crossed I may see it tomorrow.

        • @Timbo94: Well, I have it in tracking now as well through that email. Thanks for notifying.

        • @OzBMate629: Well done guys.

        • @5cooter: Thanks. Mine is in Chullora. It should reach me by this time next week. (It's about 15km away).

        • @barryquinn:Mine's in ardeer vic, I'm in sydney. Rip XD

        • @Timbo94: Can see my grey one from the other deal in Chullora as well now! Like you said, had to go to Auspost site directly as Kogan wasn't retrieving the update.

        • And now an "official" email.

We regret to inform you that, due to an unexpected stock arrival delay, we are unable to ship your Nintendo Switch Console - Neon as quickly as originally expected.

Please accept our most sincere apologies for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause you. While almost 100% of orders are dispatched on time, in rare circumstances there can be delays outside of our control.

Your order is expected to dispatch on the 7th June. As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you a notification email to confirm that it's on its way.

As a token of our appreciation for your patience, we would like to offer you a $20 Kogan.com eVoucher, which you can use on your next purchase.

Yadda, yadda, yadda. Oh well better than nothing.

        • @5cooter: I was lucky then. Mine arrived on Friday.

        • @barryquinn:
Lucky bugger. I'm probably getting mine monday, and i've already gone out and bought a screen protector and travel case.

  • I've been seeing this everyday when I go to Ozbargain for my daily fix and I keep kicking myself that I missed this. Does anyone know if this was a general sale or was it a clearance because they're trying to get rid of them all or just to attract attention or what? Kogan don't usually do good sales on video games.

    • +1

I was surprised too to see Kogan put out such a great sale on this, especially with it being Australian stock. It wasn't a clearance, and I have some suspicions that the units were the bad ones of the batch. Either way, you'll definitely see another sale like this from Kogan.

      • I really hope so, I'd totally have bought one at that price
