please learn to check staticice before you post - this deal and your other scorptec one are only tied cheapest on staticice. a "bargain" is generally cheaper than what staticice can tell anyone anytime
Would be true of staticice somehow alerted you to cheap prices. Otherwise you are stuck typing in every term for everything to check lowest prices.
err, that's the whole point. if you find a bargain on an item, you go and search staticice / other shopping sites to verify that it's a bargain, and ONLY if it's cheaper than anything else do you post it.

I bought one for $69 + $10 P&P. Not a bad deal.
I think you can only direct deposit into their account - I didn't see a place where I could place a credit card order (and they probaby charge extra for it too)
Make sure you use the code "dad10" during checkout and it should knock $20 off the price.
it is a bad deal considered you paid $79 in total while you can pick up from MSY or get Blu-ray Writer at $145. The $20 you got knocked off is the higher margin that Scorptec charge you compared to MSY

i don't see anything about the deal on that link.don't bother, I found that most of their so-called deal is not really that special. You can either get it elsewhere or it is standard price in MSY price list.
Again, this is nothing special, standard price from MSY. Beside I've seen Blu-ray Writer in MSY price list for $145, so I'd rather buy that or wait till the price drop further :)
I still remember back then we only buy DVDRom, then comes DVD Writer at shitty speed and rip-off price (4X at $400+) then price drop under $100 mark. Now DVD Writer is selling at $23. Last year there is a period DVD Writer price went crazy to $69+ which is ridiculous. Poor those who bought it during that time…. patience is the key :)
Pls people DO you homework before posting deal. This is NOT a special deal because it is just standard price from MSY. If this kind of so-called deal is posted here then I can post ALL items from MSY price list on ozbargain.
I'm gonna give this a neg because their normal price is higher than other retailer and then giving discount JUST to match other retailer price is NO BARGAIN to me. Not only to mention that Scorptec is only in Melbourne while MSY has many more store in many states.
