Just a shame they don't offer a bigger data plan (like 12gb or similar). Because $25/3gb quickly stacks up to make this a less than ideal deal, if you need more than 8gb.
I just don't see how people are using so much data these days. I barely manage to use even 5GB and i was surviving with 1.5GB just a couple of months ago. There is free wifi literally every where you go. May be i am just an ignorance fool in the city.
My workplace doesn't have wifi anywhere in the building. Over the course of a month it adds up
Well good for you that you don't use it, but I regularly go through 9-10gb of data each month.
My home wifi is useless, and lately I've been stuck at home quite a lot.

How good is their network for Sydney Metro? Is it the full Telstra network or limited?
It does not — only Telstra themselves and Boost have the full network I believe. Woolworths' would be similar to what you get from Aldi and TeleChoice.
Do Boost have the full Telstra network? Last I checked they were a reseller and so similar to Woolies coverage?
They are not a typical Telstra MVNO as they are owned by Telstra. Boost use the full Telstra 3G network, even the remote Australian towers. Only differences between Telstra and Boost are data speeds like 4GX etc.

Woolworths are killing it with the galaxy S8/+ deals. Great value for anyone looking to upgrade as these are one of the best phones around at the moment.
Just a few days ago you could get the S8+ with 12GB of data for only $2 more than this deal.
Yes that was an ozbargain exclusive negotiated limited time deal.
This is the best deal currently available and it seems to just be a generic Woolworths deal not something any ozbargain rep has had a hand in.
Plus this one has $80 CR cashback as opposed to $50 in the last deal.
What does it matter whether it was an OzBargain exclusive? My point is the previous deal offered much better value and the fact is there will probably be a repeat of it soon, so why join on for two years of this?
+1 to this. I've seen heaps of Woolworths S8 offers, each spun as a new offer better than the last, when it seems this is now the norm from them. Genius marketing a la the NES mini, when it's just trying to tie more and more ozbargain newbies into 24 month contracts.
I don't see why people are complaining about Woolworths offering the best value on-contract plans for the new galaxy phones… No one is forcing anyone to buy anything. You people are never happy.
