I did manage to snap one up, I find it hard to believe that I could've been the only one though. I certainly couldn't have been the fastest I did hesitate for half a second trying to click the link, and the paypal login button after I entered my details.

At least this time I saw the banner and managed to get one into cart and all the way through the paypal process before it bombed :( Luckily I have been reading the comments so did not get my hopes up!
After you click the banner, there seems to be 2 options but I can't remember exactly because I am trying to rush through it so quickly. One says "Add to Cart" and the other "Keep Shopping", I think I've been accidentally clicking Keep Shopping which slows me down? Jeez my brain can't compute this so fast…

well i went step further 2 times. After checkout it asks for address. Even then it removes items from your bag! weird shit they have written!

@ozzyoi: Most likely someone made either a Auto-buy script, or a Sniper that automatically purchases it once it's available.

* success?Is paypal only option? Can you save paypal details so you don't have to waste time entering them? When exactly in the process is it reserved for you?

I'm laughing because you are joining the game late (so to speak) wanting to play, asking what the rules are. Essentially there are no rules. You cannot win (or chances are stupidly slim).

Yeah I know it's not reserved in cart. Last time it was banner -> add to cart -> checkout. If you got through these steps, you were good. But now people are talking about coming back from paypal etc, so the steps seems to have changed.
I also know chances are very low, hence why I haven't wasted my time. But I do have nbn fibre, and I did win last time, so figured I might give it a try with the big prize.
@fruxo: Oh, I didn't realise the payment process had changed. I thought it was the same, you would need to choose a payment method. I remember last year people were giving tips like ensuring you were already logged into paypal to reduce time taken etc
But I never got that far!!! So that is only second hand info and my poor memory, so I could be wrong!

Did the banner say it was $7 for the TV although it was $25. This just confirms how dodgy this whole thing is.

I don't get why this time you had to actually go all the way past payment to secure the item. Last November, all you had to do was "Add to Cart" and you were guaranteed… The fact that you had to click all these other bloody buttons (btw I forgot to agree to terms and conditions for the TV) is BS IMO
Any way we could actually know if someone from public scored that TV? Just hoping it was an OzB legend!
I went as far as confirming paypal details to get the error we don't have any more stock message. Was a bit sad as I thought I definitely will get it as it was already confirming payment…
If you want to be salty and think this is a scam so be it. Chances are there might only be 1 TV available.

I've just had my order cancelled :'( unbelievable! Had to deal with this last year too, and only after much argument over the phone/emails did they agree to deliver what they originally promised.
What item did you manage to get and have cancelled?
I got the PS4, I read how people suspected that the PS4 sale was hacked or something which had me giggling for a bit, but now that it's cancelled you can say I've stopped giggling for a while now. Last year was the Samsung TV, and now this >:(

You're kidding! :/ no wonder mine was cancelled. I found out via email very soon after 7pm, when the Mayhem Store closed. Really sucks since there's no arguing for that back.
