It was a different model.
If you don't mind waiting for 10 days or so it's cheaper to order through MyMemory, works out to be around $34 (UK site, free shipping world wide):

Use the code "Backforgood" for another 5% off. Have used them many times for various things (head phones, games, mobile phone covers etc), delivery takes around 1-2 weeks.
I think worldwide postage is now £1.95
I was thinking of getting some PS3 games from there(mymemory). There is no region specification on there so i am assuming they are region 2 which should work here?
PS3 games are region free
COTD usually take more than 10 days for them to delivery to you
No longer free shipping, it's around $3.50 for delivery, still, the insanely cheap prices for sennheisers compared to Australian sennheisers are better even with the added $3.50 for delivery.
It would be quicker getting it from mymemory. VERY fast postage.
Was just about to post this myself, from MyMemory.co.uk.
It's still listed as free delivery on the CXL400 page, i guess that's just for UK customers. :(That sucks that it's not free postage from MM anymore, i loved that. Oh well, it was good while it lasted, and $3.50 isn't too much.
These are definately worth more than $50. if I didnt already have 2 pairs of cx400 which I purchase for $60 each, i will but this
How do they compare to the CX300?
Unfortunately the L version is only 0.5m as its designed to be used as a lanyard. Carrying the extra extension cord around could be annoying.
Just a follow-up
http://www.testfreaks.com/headphones-headsets/sennheiser-cxl…It is rather short and the additional cost of an extension cord is a deal breaker.
"Bonus 1M extension cable included for a combined reach of 1.5m"
I like the lanyard style design. I used to use the iriver s10 which has its owns lanyard style headphones but those headphones are not suitable for my ears. but I cannot use other headphones if I want to have it around my neck.
Now I use a Nano with neck strap and i use a wire tie to shorten the cord for the cx400.
In a nut shell - If you use an mp3 player with a neck strap, this is especially good for you. If not the free extension cord makes it a good deal.
MUST RESIST BUYING STUFF
I suppose this can be considered as cheap but a little while back I got the CX400 without the lanyard from catchoftheday at $17 after shipping in the treasure hunt event. Also I managed to get the ultimate ears 220s off logitechshop for 2 for $40 so I probably wouldn't count this as a bargain but for those who missed out this is kind of a good alternative.
With so many fakes on ebay, its hard to know if this is authentic or not.
exactly y im not buying.
Well you aren't buying it from eBay, are you.
not for the headphones.
You cannot trust COTD too. at Ebay, atleast your payment is secured from Paypal. Getting an item from COTD is like getting cheap item from China and that too after 11-12 days.
They are liars and when you argue, you are asked to pay the amount as restocking fees for change or item.
May be good item, but I vote -ve for COTD.I got a bad quality LCD screen rather than LED
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/29758I doubt COTD would sell fake branded items. They wouldn't risk their reputation like that. If anything it would be a case of the advertised specs not being up to scratch which may be what happened in your case (and has happened to me on some occasions too.)
Having said that, I bought Sennheiser CX500s from COTD several months ago and they've been fantastic.
Yeh, its a big dodgy…i remember purchasing what was advertised as King Gee shirts to get some other brand -.-
Didnt they gave out these free a while back? or was it different model
