Hi, I'm tempted to get this for my first drone, what do you guys think? I had been doing some research, and wasn't too impressed with all the lesser brands, although Parrot (I think it was) seemed interesting. But this drone seemed pretty good, and I read that the Standard version was fine for a first drone. I like the refurbishment and warranty, much better than buying second hand and not knowing what you'll get. And the brand new price is stretching it for me. I'm mostly after good aerial photos, with video secondary importance. Aerial manoevures and flying high or far or doing tricks is not important to me. I basically just want an aerial camera platform, and a reliable machine. I do like the one touch return to base feature, I think this drone has that, doesn't it? What do you ozbargainers think?
I just looked at some more photos by it online, most are good but some have some soft edges. Are there quality control issues with the camera, and if the camera is soft on one side (decentered), would that usually be covered by their warranty if you asked for a replacement?
This is an awesome starter drone. Pretty much what you said. It's reliable, handles conditions well, camera is very decent, etc.

I bought a few lenses from this place (including a couple of L lenses), never had any issues. But not sure about buying a drone. I tried buying an MJX bugs 3 drone from Aliexpress previously and can't get it shipped cos it's got batteries…
