    Would NOT recommend purchasing Refurbished TV's from Sony's eBay Store.

    I purchased a TV a while pack and the whole screen was Cracked upon delivery, Contacted Sony and they stuffed me around for weeks until they finally refunded me! A-lot of other people have had these issues too.

    I know I'm not the only one!

      I echo this. Learnt the hard way but was able to return fortunately.
      The screen's anti-glare film had a few faint bubbles under it (like a poorly applied screen protector). No it was not a shipping protection film I had to remove :P

      I've been using their refurbished 2015 model for a year no dramas… Hope I didn't jinx myself since warranty should be over by now lol

        I bought this TV during the last sale along with another friend, they both arrived in perfect condition, no dea pixels, everything there, no damage during shipping, also brought one of there sound bars - also great price and condition.

        We may have been one of the lucky ones though, However i would buy again.

      Can't speak for ebay but their online store 'sold' us a tv. Took weeks to find out where it was. Turns out the order did not go through despite the debit on the credit card. Need to re-order. Surprise, surprise the massive discount offer is no where to be found. These guys are either dangerously incompetent or dodgy FYI.

      Others have had issues with late delivery as I recall.

    You could get a new one for $14 only more from The Good Guys eBay - $1413.60 with C5AUS C5OZ code, or $49 more including postage.

    Another member here who received a faulty 'refurb' unit from Sony Australia Ebay, had a very dark patch in the bottom left corner, got stuffed around for months, the muppets attempted to swap me an old TV that wasnt even comparable (FHD) as they had no stock of the x7000.
    Do not recommend, price may be cheap but not worth the hassle if you get stung. Read the feedback first.

    Never buy a tv refurbished!

    These sell for $1488 from good guys.

    Terrible deal.

    Expensive for a "Refurbished" TV. Sony also have poor ebay customer service.
