      You'd want to find a Choice review or some such to compare with other irons. Does the job. Well. No water leaks.

      Here I was thinking we bought a faulty iron. We were so unimpressed with our last 3 irons (2 dead & 1 leaks) we have been using it without water.
      Might pick this up.

  I bought this iron about a year ago. It was great at first and did the job fine. However, I was soon disappointed as it didn't hold up compared previous irons I had owned. Even on a medium temperature it started to burn some of my clothing - something is broken with the thermometer. I made the jump and bought the steam iron on sale over the weekend (PerfectCare Viva) and love it so far - much better than a normal iron. Plus, you can get the crinkles out of the delicate fabrics (which I was not able to with a normal iron).

  I have this for over 24 months and it's still going strong. No leaks and thermometer is fine. Great price.
