This other link seems more useful. Same price, not limited to non-iron twills, and it has a longer expiry.

  • Thanks for the sizing link

  • This deal seems good as well

These are great shirts. Non iron actually means non iron. Material is very nice and many options available in the sizing and finish. I doubt I'll ever buy business shirts from anywhere else again.

    • Agreed.

in my case non-iron means i still need to press it quickly with an iron - that's after the good old take from machine quickly and shake out.

    • All clothing companies eventually 'go bad' (see, eg, Uniqlo over the past few years. To appease the US market they ruined the fit of their infamous OCBDs and quality across the board has reportedly dropped).

  • Anyone knows where are the best or good and also not too expensive places to get tailor made suit, pant and jacket?? (In Australia or even in Ho Chi Minh Vietnam, as i am going there soon)

As i hate wearing proper clothes like those that don't fit your body.. Or can i buy those shirts or clothes and get them altered??

I am a bit short and skinny, which i find it very difficult for me to find clothes that fit me very good..

Because of my new job, I've had to start wearing business shirts recently, and here's a few things I've learnt:

I'm about 170cm so 5'7, slim build, more muscular in some areas than others.

Most of the clothing you'll find here in the shops in Australia won't fit you right off the shelf, in my time buying shirts in the past three months, I've only ever considered getting sleeves altered as I'm in between sizes in the chest area. But other than that, I'm a small size here.

When buying online, check to see the returns policy of the shops (e.g. Charles Tywhitt has a free returns policy) so it's really just about trial and error when purchasing online and finding the right one.

I guess depending on how much you're willing to put into a single shirt, I've personally found the alteration costs to quickly negate any savings that could be had originally.

My advice to you is to buy your clothes in Vietnam, (depending on how much you need it/when you leave Australia), as I'm sure the sizes there would be more tailored to you.

      • I'm a small size here

I'm about 165cm, 50-55kg, quite skinny. I think i would need XS size which i rarely see it in Australia.

Thanks, i might just get some clothes in Vietnam.

    • Plenty of good tailors in Hoi An. Can't recommend them enough. A Dong Silk, Rubin , Canali are few that I have had very good experience with recently during my Vietnam trip.

      • Thanks!

Where did you get those information from? Simple google search or any threads or forums?
