      • Awesome work !

  • Good shirts. Good deal.

  • I've heard a lot about these shirts - seem to be an Ozb classic.

How does one go about sizing?

If they don't fit, is it free returns?

And yep, free returns. They send you a return address sticker with the package.

      • I don't know my measurements (for sizing). And to be frank, I don't trust my own judgement.

What's the general consensus on here? Do people go to a tailor to get measured up/measure up themselves/use figures from previous tailors/just guess?

Thanks - sorry for noob question.

Order 2-3 shirts of different sizes and return the ones you don't want. Then order as many shirts as you need with your right size. This is what their representative told me, I'm not trying to OzBargain this deal.

        • @mazorn:

If I buy 3 for $99 in different sizes and return the ones I don't want (1—2 shirt), will i get refund for $33/shirt? Of course, more than happy to buy whatever number of shirt that has been returned with the right size. It is about getting the sizing right the first time.

        • @koala9:
No idea, better to chat with a rep. Probably not though.

For sizing info go here: www.ctshirts.com/au/sizing-guides?source=home

There's also links to videos for how to measure up.

Shirts have a 6 month return policy which is free via Post Office or Parcelpoint service. Look under 'help' tab on the website.

These are good quality shirts and you can't go wrong at $33/shirt.

      • Oh wow, this is super enticing indeed.

Really good shirts, way better than you get for similar or higher prices at retail places here such as MJ Bale etc.

Sizing is a pain but you figure it out you're set for life. I had to return one package of shirts and two suits before I got mine perfect but no problems at all now.

Note that classic fit shirts are really baggy - I'm not a super slim guy by any measure (a little pudgy in fact) but slim fits me well.

The 3 for $99 deal comes by fairly often so if you have to return, you'll get a full refund but might need to wait for the next sale.

      • Yeah - really impressed with the material for the price (assuming you buy on this deal to get it at $33 per shirt).

Van Heusen shirts on sale are around the same price and pale in comparison.

Thanks for this! I'm 184cm/85kg - and the extra slim fit, 39 neck and 84 sleeve business shirts fit me like a dream! I exclusively wear CT shirts these days…

My only advice is don't get the "business casual" shirts - they are a very different cut and don't fit as well as their regular business shirts.

    • They are a different fit for sure but I think they look great on Fridays in the office, would still recommend guys to give one a try :)

      • We get 'proper' casual Fridays at work… :)

Thanks everyone - first deal I've posted and it made it to the front page! Will now retreat back to lurking in my cave. Cheers all!

  • Someone has crashed it :(

  • Do they let you choose sleeve length? Was just about to order from TM Lewin as they do it. Ideally it would be nice if you could choose length of the tail/overhang for short and tall people..

    • +1

Yes, you can choose the sleeve length

    • +1

You can for their business shirts.
The casual shirts are fixed based on the size you pick, similar to what you would get off the shelf.

  • I just bought 4 for $160 :( At least the offer runs until July, so I'll be able to use it for my next batch.

Could you re-order 3 of them under this deal, return these same shirts under your original purchase's receipt and reap the benefits of a $21 refund!?

      • +2

Can be done, I think I once called them in a similar situation and they said they would just refund the difference instead of waste the money on shipping the same shirt back and fro

Is there a table showing the sizing between the various cuts (slim, extra slim etc)?

Based on the sizing guide I went for a size 'S' and extra slim in their casual shirt. It is a too perfect fit (bordering on too tight), but I'm not sure if I should go for the same size and drop down to a slim fit, or stay with extra slim and move up to medium.

It would be handy to see exactly how much the chest measurements change between the different configurations as I really like the waist sizing.

I hate excessive material flopping around when you tuck your shirt in and the extra slim in small is perfect for my waist, but bordering on too tight across the chest.

    • I agree, I think their sizing in casual shirts (S, M, L) is inconsistent.

I bought 1 casual shirt in M/slim, fit awesome, bought a 2nd one in M/slim, too tight at the chest, had to exchange for L. I now have too much room at the waist but a good fit at the chest. Both shirts were part of the same "Weekend" series too so kinda disappointing.

Had no problems with Business and Business Casual shirt sizing though.

      • Not sure when you bought the shirt, but I read online that they redid their sizing (maybe last year?) and slim basically became the same/similar as the previous 'extra slim' and 'extra slim' became even more tailored fitting.

The reason was mainly due to the fact that CT's 'extra slim' wasn't as slim fitting as other brands around.

Maybe it's possible that you got the old slim fit and the newer slim fit? Apparently there was a way to tell from the packaging, but I forgot what the indicator was.

I really like the fabric, so I might order a few in various sizes. I've only done one order so far, but was hoping to get the next one right based on what I received, but there are too many variables.

I also find their casual shirts too long to wear untucked - great for wearing tucked though, but I was hoping to dual purpose them.

Noticed T.M.Lewin have dimensions for their 'slim' and 'casual'shirt styles with the 'to fit' and 'shirt size' measurements. This is helpful in knowing how much the shirt actual changes in size between the various fits i.e. you can see that the actual shirt size increases 6cm through the chest.

        • ah good tip mate had no idea about this. My 2nd shirt was on back order when i bought it, so yeah likely it was the new sizing!

    • Go here, click on Casualwear tab, then scroll down.
I suggest changing to Slim fit instead of going up to Medium size.
Take note of "To Fit Your Waist" and "Shirt Chest circumference".
Changing either Fit or Size will increase room for your chest, but changing Size will also increase room around the waist.

      • Thanks for that - hadn't seen that page yet. Thanks!
Very helpful for seeing the changes between cuts and sizes.

  • Ordered. Thanks OP. Some of my CT shirts are getting a bit crusty, good replacement deal :D

  • Can anyone help me out with size conversion here please between TM Lewin and CT?

    I'm a 16.5 collar/34.5 sleeve in T.M.Lewin shirts. Is 41 the CT equivalent?

    Thanks guys

    EDIT: It appears 16.5 = 42

THANKS OP. I'm giving CT a go!!

  • I wish that they had more business shirts with the regular buttoned cuffs rather than the single, thick frenc cuff that they have for the majority of these.

  • Has anyone else found that the lowermost button is placed particularly low? I find that the shirt bunches up a lot around that button when I'm sitting down (and it's not very comfortable), so I just leave it undone. Other than that, pretty decent shirts.

Edit: In reference to their casual shirts

  • Thanks OP!
The non-iron range is definitely to my liking. Time to stock up

  • Thanks OP.
Topped up on 3x white extra slim fit non-iron shirts.

  • dbun1 has already chimed in. Can anyone confirm the length of their casual shirts? As casual rather than dress shirts, they shouldn't be designed to be tucked in. I'm 183cm and usually take a small.

  • Thanks. Very good experience with them. Bought 3x shirts initially to find my size, then returned 2 for a prompt refund. Now ordered 3 more. Quality and fit of shirts was very good.
