Good timing with the offer, I'll top up my reserves of aftershave splash. Still got plenty of men's face cream, good stuff :)

Use common sense and divide current prices by 2

      • -7

dividing is not the problem, is having to search for every brand to see what's going be on sale.

    • Because the sale hasn't started yet?

      • -7

yet the are advertising it now, and tell you to login and make a wishlist, which you can only do by browsing every brand separately and see what's on.

        • +5

Where on the website is it advertising the 50% off sale now? Is this your first time shopping online? You don't need to log in or make a wish list to see whats 50% off. The T&Cs are pretty clear what is and what isn't included, just divide eligible items by 1/2, simple.

Feel free to contribute and provide the link.

    • +1

If they did that then everything would be 25% off the original price

      (1 * 1.5) * 0.5 = 0.75

      Still good

Edit: syntax error, could not parse

Priceline is actually one of the few that isn't dodgy like that. Their regular shelf pricing is very clear. Anyone who has been to these 40-50% Priceline cosmetics/skincare etc sales and is also a regular customer, would agree they don't have a history of being misleading.

      • -6

As a regular customer, I disagree. Often when they have sales on vitamins and supplements such as fish oil the sale items will be quite close to expiry, contrary to the instructions of their suppliers such as Blackmores and without any indication in the terms and conditions of the sale.

        • +7

Unless the expiry date is covered/hidden, that isn't misleading. Every store that sells things (not just Priceline) has new and old stock. I highly doubt Priceline HQ organise these nation wide sales to coincide with expiry dates of every product range in every single store, thats about 420+ stores.

Just to be clear, are you talking about advertised vitamin sales in the catalogue, or are you talking about the products in clearance bins?

I have a few regular Priceline stores I visit, most of the products in each store have good dates, some products are meh (still months and months to go though), but it's never the same product. Anything that is about to expire or has expired would be in the clearance bins. Do yourself a favour and check expiry dates of anything you buy, as you would when you buy groceries. If it's close to expiry, ask if they have more stock or if they can discount, I promise you they won't bite :)

I'm a pharmacist at a priceline and you're completely wrong. We do NOT hide all the short dated stock and bring it out for sales. The stock we have is always out on the shelf and some is newer and some is older. Batch numbers and expiry dates are never hidden.

    • I think you confused Priceline wih ebay and their associates.

    No Bondi Sands. :(

    • Bondi Sands is 3 for the price of 2 in the next catalogue starting Friday.

Includes Dettol but not Dettol Antiseptic. What else do they even have?

    I hate perfumes.
I would rather loath in all natural _ instead…

    • +2

I'm sure your work colleagues beg to differ.

      • Hmm. Not all of us naturally smell like c*ap…

Also there are tonnes of alternatives to perfumes…

Chemist Warehouse Price match with 10% of the difference

    • Just did that thanks. Although if you're planning on ordering $100+ (freeship) then the CR rebate may exceed the 10% difference in some cases. I was happy to pick it up directly from C Warehouse though. The checkout person was quite confused about the PM policy and the 10% additional discount and said this is first them ever someone has asked for it. Now I know there are NO Ozbers in my suburb!!

  • Priceline had a cosmetics Goody Bag on 4 May 2016. Fingers crossed, perhaps there will be one tomorrow?!?! Has anyone heard any rumours?

    • Yes, it's in the new catalogue.

      • Wonderful!
