Was looking around for CHUWI Hi13, came across this cheap price on Gearbest.. don't forget the 2.4% cachback.

    An m3 (e.g. the last generation 6y30 as found in the SP4 m3) would whip this and it's only a dual core w/ HT (the N3450 is quad), so you'll feel a huge difference as a result of the much higher single-threaded performance.

      While this is true, this is however based on the new Apollo lake atom that provides upto 60% higher single threaded performance.
      Better than it was, but its still no Core based chip.

    "…while it might be the same screen as used in the Microsoft Surface Book it doesn’t look as good due to two factors, it’s not fully laminated. So there is a gap of 1mm between the digitizer glass panel. And It comes with a pre-applied screen protector because it isn’t Gorilla Glass like the Surface Book, but plain old soda lime glass, prone to scratching easily. And it’s very prone to reflections."

      Yeah, for Chinese brand like these, all the specs are bling bling glorious top range amazing but performance will be so-so.

      There was a more expensive laptop released with a fully laminated surface book screen, but it's way more expensive ($616 USD, different class of device really).

  If the screen is fragile don't toss it onto the ground.

  This is like double the price of my iWork 10 cherry trail. Which didn't get along with a 4yo. But still works great expect for the screen crack on one side.
