I doubt it, hence why they have lowered the price. The wireless charging base however will work with all phones that have a wireless back on them. In the case of Note 4, it didnt come built in and hence I had to buy this case with the wireless electronics in it. There was another option for Note 4 where you can just replace the back portion with a new cover which had the wireless electronics (rather than buy a full case).
The kit doesnt come with a cable - but it takes the micro usb standard Samsung phone charging cable.
The charging pad will work. Although i wouldn't recommend charging your devices wirelessly as it heats up the battery more than usual.

Best phone I ever had. I came out of contract at the beginning of this year and signed up for a cheap BYO plan to keep using it.
Couldn't agree more, this phone was years ahead of its time when it was released, great camera, with MM running even faster than when it was brand new.
Love mine as well, great unit! Out of interest have you ever found 64bit OS for this phone as I believe it had a 64bit CPU but the OS was never upgraded so is still running an older 32Bit OS?
Probably won't make much difference but might for gaming or calculations perhaps? Always wondered if I could try a custom OS but not sure how the pen would work and other issues so never really looked into it with this phone… it's starting to lag from time to time but mostly still great!

I have a Note 2, 3, 4, and now a 5.
The 4 is arguably the best as it has the removable battery and SD card slot the 5 lacks.
I never use the stylus so the new Galaxy 8+ might be a good replacement for the Note5.
The note 4 would be perfect if it has a proper finger sensor.
