Hey guys, looking to get a dashcam installed in my Subaru WRX 2012 hatchback.
I purchased a Thinkware F750 (front + rear + hardwiring kit) off Carboncarsystems' Ebay store about a week ago for $519. I was thinking of returning it and purchasing a Thinkware F770 (newer model) for $345 AUD as per this deal.
Carboncarsystems offer installation services (quoted $165), however they will not install products which were not bought from their store for warranty purposes.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend some trustworthy auto electricians, who offer decently priced services, located in Western Sydney (near Fairfield).

DIY electrical work is easy. We found vids on YouTube showing how to remove covers to hide the leads and hard wire the power.

Yeah I've been meaning to learn. Just busy with uni at the moment.
Strathfield Car/Auto will actually do installations for you.
I had a rear-view camera, Ceiling DVD Player, and Central-Dash Navigation installed by them.
Quite professional work, but not too cheap.
Give them a go, easiest would be to ask them in-store.
