    What is a "Melbourne range"?

    • It seems like stuff that already existed lol.

The new range comprises of – Veggie-Supreme, The Lot, Capricciosa, Tandoori and Aussie.

    • +5

Are you booking pizza a week in advance?

      • +25

You say that like it's a weird thing to do

      • yes, i tried to .

    • True, tried a store in Victoria and comes up as "The voucher 669474 can not be used at this time of the day." rather than the "The voucher 669474 is not accepted by your selected store."

  • +5

Noooo, it seems you get charged $2.00 for each meat product you swap out now. When did this happen? End of an era…

Edit: scratch that - ANY item swap now incurs a charge. I'm a broken man.

Edit edit: Alright, it appears to be a public holiday surcharge. Oops :p. Crisis averted! Still, a surcharge for EACH pizza is a bit rich. Should just be the whole order, if anything.

    • +2

      Any more edits coming soon???

      • +1

Edit: I can still get chicken for the price of pineapple - all is good in the world ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    • -3

Have some vegetables for a change, they won't kill you… ;-)

    • Yeah they have gotten wiser on the old swap toppings trick.. now it's mainly just extra mozzarella or chilli flakes or some other herbs or spices that are free

  • +1

cheers fella, pizza for me every day that week

  • +3

BAD DOMINOS! Making me order your pizzas, grrrrrrrrrrr

  • Hmmm maybe, I usually don't buy dominos, looking at value pizzas @$5 then anything else is $17 so $8.50 still $3.50 above value range pizza when you can get $3 pizza from Aldi.

Granted even the value pizza tastes better than the aldi ones but not by much.

I can imagine the cost of cooking an aldi pizza in the oven at peak time to cost a dollar or two, but I microwave them and they taste just as good anyway.

    • the Aldi stone baked cheese pizza 3 pack for $6 is great value

      • Does it actually taste good though? Is it frozen or refrigerator section? Thanks

        • They are in boxes in the chest freezer section.. mine are next to some other pizza boxes but they got all cleared.. only the mute expensive $3.79 pizzas and others left

        • @AlienC:
Thanks, I'll keep my eyes open for them next time. Some items carries are extraordinary, especially at the prices the charge.

        • @voteoften: no worries dude let me know if they taste good.. I have yet to try them and am looking forward to maybe adding my own sauces and toppings.. capsicum tomato jalapenos and Kewpie mayonnaise yeah

        • @AlienC: I have. They arent bad, added some toppings to mine. Not as good as Dr. Oetker but for $2 pretty good. Miles better than the Mcain ones, as those bases taste like toast. Not as fluffy obviously as isnt fresh dough like dominoes but its a similiar comparison.

  • +3

    Why not Hawaiian? I don't understand…

    • Tin pineapple is a premium product compared to everything else that makes up these pizzas?

    • +1

hawaiian pizzas are already cheaper at $8.95 than other traditionals

  • Even at 50% off, the dismal serving size of their pizzas is such that my local independent pizza store (whose slices in thickness are probably closer to cakes than Domino's pizza) is still far better value.

One thing most independents won't do however is cheesy crust…

    • thick doughy pizza crust is one of my major dislikes. Hopefully you mean they have a standard size base and apply the toppings thickly :)

      • Indeed, thickk toppings!

    • My chef's best pizzas from my local have pretty much changed to thin n crispy bases; it's pretty abysmal.

  • -4

I just spent $250 on Dominoes over the weekend. Do you think I can claim anything on this? This is absolutely absurd!!

    • you gotta be trolling right - there is ALWAYS 30% codes and frequently 40% off codes. Use the Chrome plugin called Tampermonkey to automatically test codes in the cart

  • Neither of the 40% off codes work for my local above (Bondi) and i just got an email with a different 40% code. OP you are welcome to add to header. 372444334346

I just used it, hopefully it works for multiples uses

    • +1

Of course they didn't, aside from being 50% off not 40% they start tomorrow so won't work till then.

    • +1

thanks for taking the time to do that! i appreciate it

  • is it extra for chicken and prawns?

    • +1

Thanks added that in, $2.95 extra.

  • I love that ripping their franchises and staff off allows for me to eat cheap pizza.

Mmmmmmm the taste of employees tears is delcious.

    • And god knows what else of theirs thru put in it. If it's just tears be greatfull.

      • You just reminded me why I should stop eating at dominos sometimes I get so distracted.

    • the pizzas cost the stores around 90c to make
if they sell around 10 pizzas @ $6 (Chef's Best) that's $60, enough to pay 3 minor employees minimum wage (let's say $13/hr) and come out with profit at the end of the day
not to mention drinks, chicken, garlicbread, etc on top to line the pockets more

half the codes don't work for franchise stores anyway, they're all head office owned stores most of the time.
      it's opt in.

source: friends work for dominos', including ordering, so that's where the price knowledge comes from

  • I assume the min $22 for delivery is the min cost after the coupon is applied ?

    • Yep $22 after the coupon is applied, you'll get this error when you choose your payment method otherwise:

Sorry, your order does not meet the minimum delivery amount of $21.90

I did a mock order at my store for 3 chef's best delivered and it came to $21.41, just under. If you are slightly short you can use code 650606 as well to get a garlic bread for $2.95.

  • +2

The quality of their pizzas isn't what it used to be anymore. I don't know if it is just store near me but they seem to not pay any attention to toppings or cooking.

    • +1

Yeah I find it is very hit and miss.. sometimes you get a good cooker and get a jackpot on toppings other times it's bare minimum.

  • -7

Dominos always makes me feel sickly for hours after. Poor quality ingredients IMHO.

  • 1st vegorama pizza comes to $23.95 (excluding discount)

  • +2

Is it just me or does it look like the prices have gone up by a couple of dollars?

Could all these 30% 40% 50% deals just be to make us forget this and still associate them as having the cheapest pizza??

food for thought, does not work with coupon

    • Yup same thought here. I swear they increased the price by $2 or something. :(

      • They did a couple of years ago but since then at least 4 to 5 years if not more by my count they have been pretty stable. The $5 value range exists to kind of redeem that and make us forget that 2 for Tuesday's or cheap Tuesday's are kinda gone :(

  • 50% off brings me to $25.44 delivered,. is this right? seams high, i fail to see that 3 pizza's are $50 ?

pretty disappointing, might just order some indian tonight for that price.

    • The delivery fee is included in one of the pizzas, if you look at your itemised pizzas, one pizza should be a lot more than the other 2.

      • +1

Yeah I get that. But 2 gourmet pizzas from my local pizza bar is $20 delivered. They are so so much better than dominos. Seams like even with 50% off it's not really that competitive given how dingy their toppings are. In any even I refrained from ordering. Just my take on it.

        • $20 delivered? That's pretty good I would go with that.

  • RIP franchise owners. How do these guys even turn a profit??

    • No more phone orders. IT killed staff off that never got ur order right!

    • By domination of the market? They are the coles and woolies of the pizza market.

  • I'm in Sydney and got these flyer codes for 50% off pizzas online mega week.
    401141 pick up
    147149 delivery
Same Ts&Cs. 10% surcharge on Sundays.

  • Thanks OP!

  • No deal.. value range is still the greatest.. chefs best is ok if you want something different for 50C more and slightly smaller but nut by much.

  • +1

Code 406184 for 2 for $5 sides, distributed in Brisbane. Expiry 4/6/17

  • 518371 used here tonight in SA. Thank you. Awesome deal.

  • Thanks. Saved me from cooking while I'm a bit crook.

Bottom two codes in the matrix above did not work in wa for two different reasons.

  • my pizzas came room temp. and soggy.

should I request a refund from their head office or cop it on the chin

    • Send them a Facebook message to explain what happened and see what they say, I've contacted them a few times about vouchers not working and they have always responded quickly and been quite helpful.

    • If it was really bad like cold or wet I would complain if it was still kind of warm and still nice to eat I would just cop it on the chin.. they cook it petty well and really the only thing that can ruin it is either time or heavy rain but if they cooked it right just put it in the microwave or if in store ask them to reheat it for ya shouldn't be much of a hassle just try and use reasonable common sense or your own judgement

  • +1

Looks like they've removed the entire "Favourites" range. Worked yesterday evening but doesn't apply now. Disappointing…

  • Domino's codes are never as good as they seem, since they never apply to the absolutely essential cheesy crust option. The ACCC should look into this.

  • Im able to get 1 x Peri Peri Chicken for $8.95, originally $17.90; you sure the extra $2 for chicken applies? Also seems the code wont apply for Tandori chicken pizza

Probably great for families but no value for singles …

    • Yeah, $22 minimum delivery.
Pizza fat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, for several days…

  • +3

ordered yesterday unfortunately 50% off price means 50% less toppings on the pizzas .. !

  • Could confirm 743387 works in NSW 2176 region.

Just ordered a Grand supreme, Supreme and BBQ meatlovers for $18!

Also one thing that I've noticed (maybe this has happened only to me) is that they don't add 'extra' toppings if you haven't paid for it. E.g. Supreme has 3 meats; rasher bacon, Italian sausage and pepperoni. If I remove bacon and add extra Italian sausage, I don't get extra sausage but if I remove the bacon and add Cherry smoked ham, I will get it.
Perhaps something to think about when getting extra topping…

    • Just create your own pizza mogul by swapping out two ingredients.
Then they won't see it as a supreme with 2 ingredients swapped out, they treat it as its own independent pizza.
