ESCAPADE

CheapTickets is continuing to offer 16% off. Note the linked page seems to have the old expiry date in the middle of the page, but the rest of the page and the Terms and Conditions have the correct expiry.

I've found CheapTickets cheaper than most places for my recent bookings of hotels and with 16% off, makes it even better. Just watch out for charges in USD so use a fee-free card. Bookings appear to be more flexible that even their parent company, Expedia.

Terms & Conditions
Offers valid at participating hotels only and are subject to availability. Offers vary by property. Minimum night stay may be required, and varies by property. Rules, restrictions, and black out dates may apply. See property pages for further details.

ESCAPADE
Subject to the restrictions set out in these terms and conditions, the 16% promotion code may be applied to a qualifying stand-alone hotel (not a hotel booking in combination with any other product such as flight + hotel, or flight +hotel + car) booked online with cheaptickets.com between March 27, 2017 12:01AM CT and April 30, 2017 11:59PM CT, for 1 or more nights for travel between March 27, 2017, and September 30, 2017. Qualifying bookings instantly receive 16% off at check-out through the use of the promotion code. Customers are limited to two redemptions of this promotion code and up to a maximum savings of $150 per booking. After those two bookings, this promo code will not be able to be used again, even if one or more of those bookings is cancelled. Exclusions may apply and most major hotel chains are excluded. The promotion code cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees/penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer. Discounts are not redeemable for cash for any reason. Promotion codes are non-transferable, not for resale, and cannot be combined with other offers or used for any booking previously made. Any attempt at fraud will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Cheaptickets reserves the right to change or limit the promotion in its sole discretion. Usual booking terms and conditions apply (see https://www.cheaptickets.com/p/info-other/legal.htm) and all bookings are subject to availability.

  • 16% off Selected Hotels

    which ones?

    • In my experience, it's try-and-see. The coupon didn't work for the Accor hotels I tried but has for Breakfree and a variety of independent hotels in Sydney, Townsville, Cairns and Gold Coast.

  • You lose the buy ten get one free when you they have these deals, so if you are a regular customer they aren't such a big deal.

    • Actually at 16% off it is better as you get 16% as opposed to 10/11 = 9.1% with the buy 10 get one free.

Sad to see it is for selected places now, I thought before it used to be sitewide? Well at least in my experience I never got knocked back

    • I think you're thinking of the wrong site. Cheaptickets doesnt do the buy 10 get 1 free deal

      • Isn't it the same as hotels.com?

        • +1

nope. Cheaptickets is owned by Expedia. You'll notice the site is almost identical to Orbitz and Expedia's

  • Keep in mind it is to a maximum of $150 discount. So as long as you are close to $900 total spend then it is fine.

Always worth checking out several other booking sites before you book, although I have gotten some great deals using cheaptickets and their codes. YMMV

Thanks OP - saved me $150 with this one!
