    • Plus AUD 9.00 delivery ;-) We are still ceaper!

      • I don't know what you mean by 'ceaper' :) but for people like us living close to baby bunting, it's cheaper to buy from there and do not have to wait

          Oops! Cheaper of course :-D
Agree! But not everyone lives close to baby bunting.

  • Good price for this delivered - surprisingly it was even more expensive on Amazon.com and overseas. Gifted this to someone recently and their kid loves it.

    • Every baby needs Sophie :-)

      • Yeah chewed for a couple of weeks then gets bored of it.

Not really Sophie's fault, most family's could say that about a hundred of their kids toys….

  • How long is shipping?

    • We ship next business day with Australian Post (next delivery will be on Monday). 2-6 business days depending on destination

Both my kids have had a Sophie each and it's always been their favourite. The first one was a gift - Sophie was hyped and overrated and a celebrity "must have" back then so I wouldn't have ever bought one nor let the wife buy one. bUrd jnr. loves the soft rubber and the texture and would gnaw on it all day long. There have been reports online of people that have cut their Sophie open and it's full of mould and gunk from slobber getting in, and there's been reports of babies choking on the squeaker part - neither of these happen with a genuine Sophie!

The best thing is that there are different "levels" of hardness in the one toy. Instead of spending $40 on random teething items trying to find the right one, just get one of these and you're good to go.

    • second on that… this product should be banned long time ago… i cut opened my kids sophie.. and it was all black and disguising inside.. No Go for me.. sorry

      • A spokesman for Vulli told MailOnline that the cleaning instructions for the toy must be “carefully respected”.
They added: “It’s important to know that Sophie la girafe [the toy’s French name] is composed of 100 per cent natural rubber, so the cleaning instructions have to be carefully respected.
“As indicated on the packaging and in an explanatory leaflet inside the packaging, we recommend to clean the surface of Sophie la girafe with a damp cloth. It should not be immersed in the water nor rinsed off, to prevent water from getting inside, as she may become damaged.
“We thus would like to emphasise the fact that is it important, while cleaning the product, that no water gets inside the hole.”

Any kids squeaky toy has this issue.
Boycott the famous yellow rubber ducky for its mould and BPA body.. I think not.
Natural rubber and a toy treated with common sense is a no brainer, for some..
Great price OP! If my child didn't already have two I'd get another!

    • Immerse something in water with a hole in it
Keep it cool and damp leaving traces of water
Literally rinse and repeat hundreds of times

All it takes is a single mould spore and it will grow. Not the products fault, it's the users.

  • Cheaper from France but in blister packaging:-

I couldn't believe the price difference when I saw Sophie toys in a French supermarket last time I was there!

      • How much was it?

      • Like buying booze in the supermarkets there!
        Scotch is surprisingly cheap there!

You've done well. That one from China has an identical box to OP's.

Sophie has been popular for so many years because it is SAFE for your baby. She is made from 100% natural rubber derived from the latex of the Hevea tree in FRANCE. AUD 15.97 delivered from China? Why would you jeopardise your baby's health by giving him or her something that might be harmful?

How is it different to yours?

        • Not quite sure I understand the question, but I guess you are trying to say that our products are not genuine. At Brands For Kids we only sell authentic/genuine products. The Vulli range (Sophie the Giraffe products) are all purchased from Les Folies, who is the official distributor here in Australia.

        • @BFK321:

Not quite sure I understand the question …
