Referrer & referee receive $25-$50 credit after referee's 3rd monthly bill.
No date, but the offer may change by the time you activate (better or worse).
Vodafone not Vafone.
:D fixed :)
Cheers.
Is this the usual unlimited calls and texts? I could not see anything about that on the link
Mobile Broadband data only.
Ok Thanks was looking for a new plan an vodafone offered me 8gb an unlimited calls/texts for $38 month so thought this mite be better
Kogan would be better at ~$23/month for 10GB + unlimited call/texts.
@Steptoe: Yea that is better thankyou for the heads up
@freewilly:
If you can live with 5GB, it would only be ~$17/month.
But it's Kogan.
Well, if you are going to give Vodafone the 💵, may as well give half to Kogan instead.
Can I use this for pocket wifi ?
Should be fine
Just make sure it's not locked to another telco.
Ordered one thanks
Does anyone know how much is it if I want to recharge after 180days?
Full price of $50 I would think. Or just wait for another half price offer.
Not as good as last month where there was double the data.
Thanks for sharing that.
[1GIG a month] isn' t very broad bandy..
by even Vodafone standards half of 1 dataday(!)
Mr Teoh arriving in this space can't come soon enough ..make hay eh, before being shown economics I guess
cheers.useful as a backup hehe
My previous starter pack is expiring soon.
Rather than recharge it can I get a new starter pack?
Why wouldn't you, there's no need to keep the number.
Yep just wondering if this deal is for new customers only (I'm aware it'll be a new number)
Anyone who activates the sim pack will get the 8 GB for half price $25.
Will this work in a phone? or tablet or modems only?
It's a data SIM. So you can insert it into any device with a SIM slot. Obviously because it's a data-only SIM, you can't make/receive voice calls. It's for internet/GPS/running and updating apps - or if you have enough data, making calls using an app, skype, etc. Some companies allow you to receive SMS on a data SIM.
I cut a voda data sim to put in my mobile and it receives calls and sms fine. The standard $50 for 8GB comes with 30 text messages.
That's what they say but I've had two SIMs which couldn't receive calls or SMSes, one of mine and another given to me by a friend. No idea why, especially as it's supposed to come with 30 free SMSes.
dohhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P
Another option is if you activate as MyMix you can get 120 min national call / unlimited text and 11.5GB (28 days)
Yep, these newer Vodafone sims you can activate for calls/txts/data to use in phones, or data only ( +50 sms ) to use in tablet/wifi etc.
on the face of it 8 gigs for $25 is expensive if $50 it's bound to sell none.
Its for 6 months, and ideal for some users who use a small amount of data each month.
Its about $4 a month, still expensive?
Is this offer only for a new number or can I use it with my current number? I already have a number with Vodafone.
Why do you care if it's a new number? It's only for data. It's not a topup or anything if that's what you mean.
Can I use this to refill an existing Vodafone broadband SIM to add 8GB and 180 days? Or does it only work with activation of the new SIM?
can i use this to receive calls? so i can then use this in my watch and use data when needed.
Anyone know the activation expiry of these?
