Hey Guys, I know a similar thread exists for Spotify but didn't find one for Google Play Music so starting one. I'm interested in Youtube Red and YT Music more than Google Play Music but you get that with Play Music Family. Please let me know if anyone is interested. I'm thinking of renewing it yearly so the upfront cost would be $36 and I'll talk to everybody on the 11th month to figure out whether we are going to renew or not. Hopefully, everyone would, otherwise we can try and find new members. Any takers?

      we'll need six altogether, so four more. Looking at the interest for Spotify, I would hazard guess we'll have enough although I'm not sure because it's personal preference as well. For me, GPM makes sense especially with the YouTube Red and YT Music.

    I was keen, but having read up on it I'm not sure. Be cautious that you have to link a 'family payment methold' that others can use. (You're able to set it up so that you have to accept/deny every transaction, but it's not on by default.)

    Also be aware that all purchases are shared among the family. (So, music, apps, movies, books, ect)

      yeah I got a bit reluctant with the common payment method but I guess that can be circumvented by using a dedicated debit card. Family plan is $18/m for up to 6 members, so if we get 6, it'll be ~3/m

    Are you using a pre-paid cc? which one?
    Does everyone get access to you tube red as well?
    Are you using an account apart from your main google account?

    Hey Guys,

    Trying to pull together 5 others for Google Play Music which gives you Youtube Red and Youtube music as part of the subscription.

    Cost will be $36 a year transferred by Bank transfer once we have 5 more people.

      I'm now on the fence whether I go with Spotify or Google Play Music. Spotify seems to have much better support for other devices other than my Android phone but Play Music has YouTube Red…
