          I remember a similar thing with a baseball game. Some dude won $1mil just after a few hours the game was out. Quite unfair IMO considering a lot of people didn't even have the game yet.

      Fishpond deal mostly in imports. On the rare occasion you might get a local version but there's no way to guarantee it.

        This is actually incorrect all our New Releases are purchase from local companies apart from the odd Nintendo game which can be hard for us to source.

    Does anyone know what the competition to win the AMG will involve?
    If it includes a time trial based competition similar to GT Academy or if it will just be someone picked at random from all Signature Edition purchasers?

    Time trial based would be too hard against those hard core people out there haha.

      You're allowed to import cars you legally own, if you have owned them for a certain period, no matter what the type of car is. And LHD import/conversion rules differ from state to state, and vary according to age of the vehicle, amongst other things.

      And it wouldn't be out of the question for the company providing the prize to offer it from a local dealer instead of having to worry about importing it…

      It's being sold here so I think they'll just get the local dealer to hand one over, just like in regular competitions.

    This is great and all but I ordered World of Warcraft Cataclysm Collectors yesterday at $99.95 and I got an email sent back to me straight away informing me that Fishpond have already exhausted their allocated supply and are in the process of sourcing more:

    "The stock information we had at the time of your order was out of date so we have had to reorder from another source.

    We now expect it to arrive at our warehouse by 01/01/70. You will receive an email notification on dispatch.

    Will I be able to get a copy of WoW Cataclysm Collectors, or will this be a case of my previous purchases where I've had my pre-orders cancelled because Fishpond oversold and under delivered on a product?

    I think maybe Fishpond should make sure that you have enough stock available before you guys start taking more pre-orders and offering discounts.

    The last time I relied on you guys to follow through you cancelled on me and left me no alternative to source a collector's edition since by that point it was already so close to release date.

    I don't know about eb games, but I'd rather get free delivery from Game, who seem to know something fishpond don't! And it's not just a game, thier collectors editions, if you don't want it or don't have the disposable
    income for it, just leave it alone!!
