Fujitsu Cash Back Denied

Any one else had their Fujitsu Cash back claim for their split system denied from an Ebay purchase? Bought from the Ebay Good Guys store.

No email notification about it. Had to check and it said claim denied.

Seems like not even the paypal receipt is good enough. Guessing they do want a copy of the bank statement which is a bit over the top as I'll have to blank out everything.

Sent them an enquiry through the contact us form 1 week ago, and still no response.

The last time I did that, I asked for a copy of the invoice from the TGG store when I picked up my aircon. I submitted a scan of that instead because the Paypal email was just a receipt, not an invoice. Perhaps go in to the TGG store and ask for a copy of your invoice and call Fujitsu maybe?

  • My claim is still pending. Claim made on 18/03.

I've attached the invoice from TGG and the receipt from paypal.

I've attached the paypal payment, as TGG invoice doesn't have the discount amount applied and the full price is only shown, therefore if i attached my bank statement, it wouldn't match.

Will keep you posted on the outcome of my claim.

    • Got the approved confirmation email today.

  • Call them and ask them why it was denied.

I think there was discussion about this last? year.
It was important to only include the TGG receipt showing original price.
I believe if it was mentioned that a discount had been received the Cash Back would be denied??

    Maybe check T&Cs?

    • Oh…..will have to see. They probably have black listed the serial numbers too in case I relodge. Hmmm nothing about discounted products being excluded from the promotion.

  • I lodged a cash back claim last year. Print screen of the actual bank transaction was required together with the TGG invoice. I emailed the print screen and received the cash back card within the stated timeframe.

    • did you blank out your bank statement?

      • No I didn't. Why would I?

        • Just privacy I guess in regards to all your other purchases.

    they need "proof of payment"

To claim a Fujitsu Pre-paid Visa card or Digital Reward, the Claimant must complete the claim form

limited to, personal details, the model and serial number of the Eligible Product purchased, upload a
copy of their proof of purchase (i.e. a valid tax invoice, purchase receipt, etc.) and proof of payment
(i.e. a transaction receipt such as an EFT receipt, a bank statement, credit card slip showing the
purchase, etc.) for the qualifying purchase, and successfully submit the fully completed claim form
    by 11:59pm AEST on 31/08/17.

  • Will go into TGG tomorrow and get a receipt printed. Thinking I will have to call them too, as I'm getting the feeling my messages are getting ignored by them.

Off topic…(prob could be another forum post)
I'm getting the impression that a lot of large companies don't seem to care now if they offend customers, and even disregard bad feedback and complaints left on their social media pages. My receptionist has had problems with her LG tv. Shes 6 months pregnant, and the LG service people still wanted her to be there to help the technician lift the TV!!!! She left a complaint about this on their FB page. It was politely written, not abusive at all. LG, just deleted her comment a few hours later, without responding to her. We also noticed, that LG had removed all other complaints that had been posted, and left the other good comments. Now that is disgusting. Probably explains their attitude with the G4 defect.

  • weird…sent 2 emails, and all i get back today is a generic email of

    Thanks for your email.

We have received your claim and it is progressing through the claim process.

You should receive your prepaid Visa card within 12 weeks of submitting your claim.

    Kind Regards,

Gift Card Planet on behalf of Fujitsu General (Aust) Pty. Ltd

And it just says submitted on my claim again. What a mess their system is.

  • I bought an aircon unit with a $200 in-store voucher from an online store and discovered they were out of stock of 3 months so got a refund and bought from another online retailer (with a $200 debit card deal).

A month later the first store emails me my $200 off evoucher. I couldn't help it. Picked up a sound bar for my tv at a cost of $7 delivered.

  • They are pedantic with their evidence requirements. I had a few similar claims last year. Once I sent through scans of print outs from internet banking showing the transactions, ebay receipts, paypal receipts and the good guys invoice there was no problems, just a long wait. Watch out, because if they don't have all of the documents by the cut-off date that applied when you made your purchase, you'll get denied, even if you send the documents through later.

My advice is go over the top - send them everything you've got (black out confidential/irrelevant info). Otherwise, they ping you on the one document that you left out.
