Good Budget Slow Cooker/Pressure Cooker & non-stick Frying Pan

Happy Monday,

So I just moved out with my girlfriend and we are in the market for a slow cooker/Pressure Cooker and a nonstick fry pan. I was wondering what would be your suggestions for Pressure Cooker/Slow Cooker under $150 and a non-stick frying pan say under $60 (If that is all even possible.)

Thanks.

Look at harris scarfe for good non stick frying pans. When they are 40 or 50% off they are really good value. I have a few tefal pans from there and the quality of them are really good. Dont bother getting them at full price, but the majority of the time they have a sale on them

not under $150 at the moment but you can get it on sale fairly often
this has become my number #1 kitchen appliance.

    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/kitchen-appliances/small-kitc… $179 currently
but if you get a ebay voucher can be had cheaper

    as for non stick

the classica black ice stone frypan is excellent harris scarfe have it on sale for $29.95 (was $59.95) i would jump on it while they are there

I think you have hit the nail on the head my friend, ill hold out for a sale on that pressure cooker, but the pan is a godsend. My days of scraping the shit off the pan will now be put behind me.

What your thoughts on just a slow cooker?

i had a slow cooker before the all in one cooker i wasn't a fan of them things stuck to it a pain in the bum to wash
but i use the all in one on slow cook mode a fair bit the roasts come out so much better.

$74.50 seems to be the price to beat for the Philips All-In-One Cooker HD2137/72

    • hey mate, looking to buy my mum a slow cooker. with this one, does it have a delayed timer function? e.g can you do it in the morning, set it to timer to start cooking at like 4pm so it's ready by 6pm?

I have been using one of these now for more than a year and still going strong everything still good and solid no stick no nothing.

Handle is a little bit looser now but still quite rigid but other than that it is still good.
