Or get EA Access/Origin Access and play it free (among others)

$35-$40/yr normally
(sorry PS4 owners!)
It's ok, we prefer physical copies that retain a value :)
Mirror's Edge isn't going to retain value ;)
you'd be surprised the ps3 version fell of the map years ago and then became a cult hit, I run a trade group in adelaide and it routinely goes for 10-20 easily.
If the ps4 version goes the same way will always be worth atleast $10
@typhoonadventure:
Played the beta and didn't find it to be as exciting as the original@typhoonadventure: Catalyst wasn't as much of a phenomenon unfortunately, and it quickly dove in value. I adore the game but I can't imagine it seeing as much long term success as the original did.
Says who? If it continues to be sold and purchased brand new (which it seems it is), then it will always be sought after on the second hand market.
$28 isn't 'sought after'.
GTA 5 is 'sought after' but will still hit a bargain bin eventually.Considering GTA 5 is older but sells for more it's pretty safe to say that ME:C isn't a collectors item.
Buying a physical copy for resale is like spending $80k on a car and considering it an investment.
You don't work for Westpac do you…?@Spackbace: Poor choice of words on my behalf, but regardless, there will always be a market for used games.
Course there will, but are they ever worth the hassle? It's more that when you sell your console you'd rather sell it as a bundle than standalone, but ME:C is never going to add much value to that.
Whilst EA Access etc is like hiring from a video shop, this is just 1 of many games that you have access to! Given some of the other games on offer, it offers far greater value in the short-term than physical discs do in the long-term (imo anyway) :)

If you're asking that, I don't think I'll bother wasting my time or yours trying to explain it.

No I wouldn't, because I would get more from selling the console and each individual game separately, as that would produce a better return.
Whilst EA Access etc is like hiring from a video shop,
Yeah…or I could buy/own the game for a little extra, then make most of my money back after I'm done with it.
Cheers op, bought!
Tried to purchase the limited edition from EB Games a few times, but kept getting the standard "we've searched high and low, but couldn't find it" email.
If you can wait, this will one day (this year) drop to $20 or be part of 2 for $40 promo.
