    $5 UNO Playing Cards

    Shouldn't 'UNO' cards be $1 ???

  • Title should be changed to UNO Playing Card

    • +1

Educational. Never knew uno has been around since then, uno?

    • +1

      That's a cracker… Thanks!

Which reminds me, have you seen this cracker before?

      • hahaha nice one!

        • Yeah.. sorry :)

  • You can get $1 packs of UNO cards at Parklea markets.

    • Genuine or…

      • I don't know but how would it affect the game?

        • +6

Friend, friction of the cards plays a pinnacle step in the game, imagine for a second if the frictional velodensity of yhe cards was higher than a standard set.

        • @Siddeeqi al-Hammoud:

I have seen some playing cards that were ridiculously bad quality. Different thickness of paper. Different pattern or darkness of pattern on the back of the cards. I imagine it could be done badly. Only one way to find out.

        • @syousef: Friend, while i think $5 is over priced i know chicken feed style cards tend to be horrid quality and leave ink all over your hands

        • @Siddeeqi al-Hammoud:

Cards aren't expensive to print properly and I've definitely had playing cards that don't do that for $1.

        • @Siddeeqi al-Hammoud: I sleeve my knockoff UNO decks so they last longer.

        • +2

@coxymla: Friend, you do double sleeve them right?

        • I have the genuine Aqua deck - which are plastic cards. Beats them all, hands down. Highly recommend paying the extra $.

Damn you're winning. I'll just have to pummel the crap out…oh wait that might be just the way my family plays the game ;-)

    • +2

      That's Wild!

What do you say when you are leaving 1 left?

  • +1

    None at my local. SAD!

  • They are usually $2 in these Chinese stores.

  • +1

    $3 at Cheap as Chips - http://www.cheapaschips.com

  • +3

Best card game ever! Should be played in casinos worldwide.

Had to take mine back as a faulty pack; my partner got 3 +4's and 3 colour change cards in one hand.

  • I love how my 4 year old boy always rips the packs open so that the cards never go back in properly. Maybe I need to invest in some cheap rubberbands, anyone got a deal?? (surprised no deal puns here actually.)

    • +2

Rubber bands can ruin the cards though.

      • +1

buy el cheapo hair bands, it doesn't ruin the cards :D that's what I used for my cards.

      • No, the rubber bands are for the kids hands!!!

  • For anyone in the area there were around 30 in the South Melbourne Woolworths store.

  • Woolworths Gosford has about 30 packets. No reduced price ticket, but scanned up at $5. Thanks heaps OP!

  • Quick update. Still $5 at West Ryde, about the same quantity left.
