Car Freshener - Your Suggestions

Hi all,

Looking to get some kind of car freshener that is not going to kill my wallet, but also smell nice.

My car doesn't smell bad or anything but I prefer it to be welcoming.

All thoughts are welcome!

    California scents is highly regarded.

    Autobarn has those pine cone shaped ones for $2. I tried the cotton candy / fairy floss one and it smells like unicorns and broken dreams

    All these fresheners are just toxic chemicals you are inhaling.

    Try some drops of essential oils.

    Family Tree
    $2 at car wash via the vending machine (or bigw etc..)
    Once a month when I go a full car clean and wash

    Go to Myer
    Spray your favourite fragrance on a card (the big one, not the strip)
    Avoid long conversations with sales people
    Put it in your car
    Repeat every two to three weeks

    This is what I do:
    About once a month I order a Dominoes Pizza and pick it up and put in my car. I then drive home which takes 10 minutes and then sit in my car and eat it. Ensure you keep all windows closed throughout this delicate process. You may retain the boxes in the footwell for long lasting oily aroma. Works greatly with a meatlovers.

      This process can be used with maccas, kfc, hj, and they treat just keeps on giving.

    Cherry California Scents is awesome, everyone that gets in my car says "wow". Haven't tried any of the others yet, but planning to.

    Paid $2 for a Darth Vader "new leather" mirror-hangy-thingy. Car smells like a dental surgery now! At least it's an improvement on the previous mankyness
