would be pretty cool for XBMC. As mentioned in description it requires own 2.5" Sata drive and DDR2 ram..

    WOW Amazing 4% discount, wooo hooooo…. bargain bargainn…. 4% discount…..

    • Indeed……just what will I do with that $11 saving…Mmmm.

  • Just curious is this really ION 1 or ION 2?

    • At this price point, it's most likely ION 1.

    • +1

It's ION1. The ION2 uses the newer Atom D series processors, not the older 330. Apparently the older ION1 provides better performance on video decoding, as the ION2 has to use the limited bandwidth offered via Intel's chipset restructuring.

This system is actually pretty much perfect for XBMC as mentioned, but it's supposed to come with a remote… Hmm.

EDIT: Disregard remote comment, that was on the 330HT (Home Theater) model.

Provide free HDD and RAM then its a discount or maybe sell for $200.. Ozbargain is meant for great deals not '$5 off'

$264 is cheap for this, when its normally aroud $290ish

      • The normal price is $275. $11 discount on a $275 item…not a bargain.

    • Out of interest where can you find this for $269?

  • Are you doing the Asrock ION330HT for a good price as well?

  • These Atom ION PCs are awesome for 24/7 operations, due to the low power demands. I use one as a home server/download box, it uses about 36 watts so I can't complain :-D

    • Finally something to run the logitech security system then :)

  • I think the Acer Revo r3610 Ion Nettop is still a better deal, I got one new for $330 ($320 now) from fleabay and that included 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, & wireless keyboard & mouse. Its smaller than the Zotec & doesn't have an optical drive but suits me fine.
