    IMHO, not a bargain when compared with alternatives out there:

    Dont get me wrong - these cardboard scratchers are great, but even at $49, you're well off the money.

      I have the 3 piece, enough for 2 cats. Probably the best thing we've bought them so far. Still lasting 6+ months later. May as well buy 4 lots of these one instead of the OP.
