    I really don't know why people use cameras like this when you can get a Viofo A119 at a similar price point - higher resolution, GPS option, and a much more descrete mounting system.

      A119 is $149 from DCA? This is $88 not exactly same price range.

    My experience in general with dash cams is that they stop working in extreme heat inside the car. My experience is limited to a cheap no name camera from 2 years ago. Would be good to know if dash cams have improved/ evolved in reliability.

      Even with capacitor model? If you stress any electronics it's gonna fail in the same way too not sure what temperature u want it to withstand it to

      Had two K6000's in two cars for several years now… no heat probs, paid under $30 for each one.

      They are good for the price bracket.
      I will admit the pic quality is nothing like an A119… which is what I am looking at getting.
      Give us a bargain price on A119's someone…!!

    Do not buy this…. I got this few months ago and the time and date always set back to 2014-1-1 and 0:0

    It looks like this model has internal battery problem. Avoid this if you can.

    Yeah don't get one of these, battery can't handle moderate car temps.
