one of the best shows ever!

Be aware it's a Region 2 DVD, so you need a Region Unlocked DVD player to play it here in Australia.

Or play it on your computer, using VLC. VLC ignores region coding, and does not change the "region" of your drive.

If you want to know anything about politics, this show is a must! While it's meant to be a comedy, quite a few of the stories are based on true events.

One friend who is a politician described it as mandatory viewing.

    • I highly recommend The Thick Of It, if you haven't seen it already.

  • One of the greats. Amazing show, ripper price.

  • How many discs? Price per disc?

Why has he got the time? He shouldn't. That's your fault, Bernard! You must ensure he hasn't got the time. Create activity, Bernard! He should be making speeches, visits. We need deputations, junkets abroad, mountains of red boxes, we need crises, emergencies, panics! Pull yourself together, Bernard!

Certainly the closest thing to comedy perfection as you're likely to find.

If anyone is yet to watch the reboot of "Yes, Prime Minister" from 2013, a word of advise….. DON'T!

  • Thanks OP, got one.

  • A massive fan of the show. I heard even the Queen watched it when it was on all those years ago. Onya Queeny. Would've snapped this up if it wasn't region restricted. No dvd player on my laptop.

If you ask me for a straight answer, then i shall say that, as far as we can see, looking at it by and large, taking one thing with an other in terms of the average [of Departments], the final analysis is probably true to say, that at the end of the day, in general terms, you would probably find that, not to put too fine a point on it, there probabaly wasnt much in it one way or the other. As far as one can see, at this stage.

Yes, yes, yes, I do see that there is a real dilemma here. In that, while it has been government policy to regard policy as a responsibility of Ministers and administration as a responsibility of Officials, the questions of administrative policy can cause confusion between the policy of administration and the administration of policy, especially when responsibility for the administration of the policy of administration conflicts, or overlaps with, responsibility for the policy of the administration of policy.

  • Great writing!
