  • 3 metre hose…. that would be a pain when cleaning large areas.

    • +1

Most pressure washer hoses are that length.

      • I've only used a Gerni and its hose reaches down my entire driveway (6-8m?)

        • That's nice, the above poster made it out that a 3 meter hose was shorter than usual.

        • @cdestratis:
And I was backing them up via my experience with a popular brand of pressure cleaner

          @Hinee:
All your comment is backing up is that one brand/model of pressure washer has a long hose, the fact remains that most washers come with this sizing of hose.

        • @cdestratis: Based on….?
Even the most basic Karcher has a 6m hose. My statement was based on the Karcher's I have owned, which is one of the most common and popular brands.
Can you back up your claim with anything?

        • @Make it so: my karcher has a 3m hose

        • @OzzyOzbourne: newest base model has 6m. I checked. So much easier when cleaning large areas…

You're comparing an unbranded product to this?

      • This is the low end Bosch. They make all their stuff green now to fool you into thinking you are buying tradie commercial standard gear. A friend of mine didn't let her Bosch have a break and killed two machines cleaning less than 200m2 in a weekend.

Buying one of these without a shop front to return it to I a recipe for tears.

Yeah, I highly doubt this, but luckily, that's what warranties are for!

Buying one of these without a shop front to return it to I a recipe for tears.

Why is that? I've returned countless items that were purchased online, including bigger items much like a pressure washer, and never shed a tear.

        • @cdestratis:
You don't cry easily do you?

        • the blue bosch is the good stuff.

  • They might send you an used item like they did with me

    • You referring to ebay seller sending used?

    • I visit their store in Smithfield all the time, it's where I buy most of my tools, and have never experienced that.
I highly doubt you were sent a used product as these guys don't sell used stuff. If it was used, it was used by Bosch themselves and that is even more unlikely.

  • Great little unit however the hose makes it difficult when washing cars, ect

And what's stopping you from getting a 5m or 10m hose extension?

    • +1

Can you shed light what do you use this for ? Washing cars or washing ground ?

      • These can be used for washing cars right through to cleaning your house and driveway/patio areas.

  • Would this be ok to clean the roof??

  • I'm hoping the connection on this is the same as the once used by Worx, since my old cleaner died and had to be returned for a refund but I still have a couple of accessories from it that I purchased seperately. The lance connection looks the same from the pictures.

    • Received and all good :)
It even came with a Karcher adaptor so I can buy accessories from their range too.

  • I think I'l hold out for a good deal on similar spec gerni. They've been ~$100 before

    • I think I I'll hold out to win the lottery.

  • where is the good old school Karcher deals mannnnnnn….

    Or 25$ repco deal :)

  • I have just placed an order. It has not expired yet. The deal is still on.

Bit the bullet and picked one up today.

First thoughts, very easy to set up. 5 minutes to unpack and clip everything together.

This thing is LIGHT! Hose is quite short but being incredibly lightweight, carrying the thing around isn't going to be a chore.
Foam bottle is a nice addition (holds two fifths of bugger all but I watered the detergent down and that seems to be the trick)

Had a look at some Gernis while I was there, they all seem to be a similar construction. The Bosch comes with a 2 year warranty as well which is nice.
I'll give it a proper smash once(if) the rain lets up.

  • deal still live (20th March)
