TheGoodGuys AAA 20pk Phillip Batteries

I purchased two packets of AAA 20pk Phillip Batteries last November 2016 from TGG eBay store and I went to use them and they have all leaked. Every single battery has started to leak. It's only been 4 months but I am fortunate that I hadn't used them yet.

I am curious if anyone else has had similar experience with Phillips batteries?

    They don't. No dates and nothing about expiring on the packaging.

  Possibly but I'm not game enough to open the packaging to find out.

  I would say the culprit maybe the way they were stored. Temperature variation maybe.

    If that was the case then the duracell and energizer batteries stored in the same place as these AAA should have done the same thing.

  I just checked TGG website and the customer reviews are giving the same feedback. These must be bunk batteries.
