  • does warranty work internationally with samsung?

      No.

Reads comment.. Looks at testbench next to me littered with samsung global warranty cards being used to rest parts on

        .. Scratches head

Samsung are amazing at dealing with RMA's, btw. I would most likely still buy Samsung 950 SSD's even if they weren't the best on the market due to Samsung's Comp department.

        • I went by what I know about Samsung Australia and their warranty statement:

          http://www.samsung.com/au/support/html/warrantyinformation/w…

"B. Except where an International Product Warranty has been provided with your Samsung product, warranty service will only be provided in the specific country where the Samsung product was originally purchased. For example, if you have purchased the Samsung product within Australia, warranty service will be limited to Australia only."

Also looked through the booklets that came with my Samsung 850 Pro, 950 Pro, and 850 EVO mSATA, and can't find a mention of anything relating to International warranty on the pages listing warranty info.

Hope they actually step up and resolve an issue from a product purchased overseas, but Samsung are no Intel or EVGA when it comes to providing hassle free 'international' warranty.

500GB ….. thought 1TB was the new black when it comes to SSD.

    Wonder how long this'll last

We don't know if graysonline will honor the sale

      Wrong thread,Guy.

      • +1

In other words, will this deal still be available if it takes a while for graysonline to tell people the deal was a pricing error (that's if it does turn out to be one).

Doesn't the CPU say "Habituellement expédié sous 1 à 2 mois.
Cet article ne peut pas être expédié en Australi"

Ships in 1-2 months and doesn't ship to Australia.

I'm not an expert in the French language but yes

    • I was able to order without an issue. For me 1-2 months is just in time to cancel if the 1600x is better for gaming or I find an even a better deal. :)

  • Thanks OP

Just so everyone is on the same ship make sure you pick Priority [+$12] and not eClaire postage [+$40].

Bought one! I still hope everyone from the grays deal ends up getting their package. I remember buying the G-Skill 64gb Ram for $300 when it was like $900 and they dubbed it a pricing error :( BoL.

    • haha i remember that as well.

there are tons of deals we missed everyday unintentionally, so not big deal if someone ELSE is getting what. but what our self is getting at the time.

  • this item can not ship to Australia on the 1700.

Cet article ne peut pas être expédié en Australie.

    • Try checking out, I can still get checkout to work.

      • Doesn't let me for my address, says try a different address. I am in a semi remote area though.

  • Oh man, comes to $196 with shipping to Perth, doesn't seem like much a of a saving anymore?

    • Amazon has really bad currency conversion if you pay in AUD directly, pay in euros with a fee free cards such as 28 Degrees or Bankwest platinum to get the lower price of approx $189.

      • Hi Lyl, may I kindly confirm when/where I'll see the price of $189 please?
i'm trying to use one of the cards you mentioned and
I've selected EUR not AUD but the conversion rate still comes at 1.46 which equals 200 AUD.
Do you mean it will come up as cheaper in my cc bill after placing order?
        Thank you for your time.

  • Oh how lovely. Thank you kind sir :)

  • is it worth saving 10% on local prices to miss out on local warranty + being able to claim gst back?
