  • is the ZTE Blade V Plus V580 Mediatek version or snapdragon?

    • +3

Looks like Mediatek version - from ZTE website - MTK Octo core 1.3GHz 64bit processor with 2GB RAM (DDR3)

      • +3

Yeah just confirming that the V Plus has a mediatek chipset.

        • Does it have NFC?

        • @zbc:

          Hi zbc,

Unfortunately these models don't have NFC. Thanks

  • V Plus looks good. But doesn't seem to be much rom support, so Lollipop forever.

  • +8

Do note that while these are all dual sim phones, the 2nd sim appears to be 2G only, which is not going to be of much use in Australia past 2017.

Who does mobileciti use for delivery? Ive encountered couriers that wont redirect to aus post like couriers please. cheers

    • +2

They use Australia Post and can confirm that delivery is really quick. I always received my orders bext business day in Melbourne

      • +1

        Same here :)

        • oops just realised fastway is free but aus post postage is $6.80.. :(

        • @nomnomnom: Aus Post got big bonuses to pay their CEO

  • +1

MTK phones stuck on Lollipop forever but at least they have band 28

    • You get what you pay for.

    • decent ish specs but the CPU isnt speedy given its only 1.3ghz and gpu is laggy

  • Is Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro Prime not superior to these with HD display and 3/32 GB for just around $40 more?

    • Of course it is but some people would prefer a cheaper option/deal with Australian retailers over Aliexpress

    • No B28

    • Is galaxy s7 edge superior to the xiaomi redmi 4?

      • For just around $40 more?

    • Does it have local warranty?

  • +1

Nano Sim, Dual SIM, Dual Active(2nd SIM - 2G)

As stated by post above, the second sim is 2G only, which do not work with Telstra, will not work with Optus in the coming months and will not work with Vodafone next year on wards.

  • Can anyone find ZTE Blade V6 T660 full specs on GSM Arena? It seems to only have a "D6", is that the same…?

    • Hi mgowen,

Try the ZTE official site for the full specs. Thanks

  • +6

I don't want one of these, but a definite upvote for Mobileciti - only had good dealings with them and they seem to consistently offer genuine bargains.

  • +1

Do these have completely original roms on them or some version of aftermarket rom as you often see through the Chinese retails?

    • +1

Stock android, says it in the product description

      • I know, but when you buy off any of the ChinaDroid resellers its not uncommon for them to list that bit ship with a modified launcher or rom full of malware.

        • +2

I know, but this is Mobileciti we're talking about. Plus this is the Australian version and they come sealed, so I highly doubt they're tampered with.

        • +4

          Hi Xuuj,

These phones definitely have the original ROM. All our phones are Australian A-Tick stock, so they are the same as what you'll find at The Good Guys and other retailers. Thanks.

        • +6

I can vouch for Mobileciti as well. Never had issues with them

        • +2

@lyl: Awesome, thankyou very much for clearing that up. Its great to see good prices on proper Australian OEM stock that you can trust the rom and don't have to reload it on purchase.

        • @xuuj: my thoughts exactly

  • What's the latest version of android that's been rolled out (officially) for the V Plus?

    • 5.1 Lollypop

  • +4

Giving an upvote since this is local unlock stock with band 28 support and 2gb of ram. Of course you could buy better spec Chinese phone for similar money, but with obvious downsides.

  • Anyone know when if the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Pro Special Edition with B28 is coming out if at all. You would think it's on the way soon being so popular now worldwide and Europe starting to roll out B28 too.

  • the v plus seems to have better specs than the v6. fingerprint scanner, bigger screen.. but good guys is selling the v6 for $20 more than the v plus. am i missing something? deciding btw the two.. thx

    • Check Here for comparison
V Plus is thicker with lower standby time
Has a Lithium Polymer Battery when compared to Lithium Ion (not sure what this means)

Otherwise the V Plus seems to be a better phone

My current phone is declining and I am holding out for some new flagship releases this year. Is this a good phone to use in the meantime? Not many reviews I can find online

    • What is your current phone?

  • Hi Lyl, would you know if MobileCiti ever plan to have Oneplus 3t in their stock?

    • +1

      Hi luckyeddy,

Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately Mobileciti only sells A-tick Australian stock, Oneplus are not A-Tick approved yet, so we won't stock it.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Bought one as I don't need any flagship phone and my LG G3 is playing up (heavily)

    • Screen constantly flickering or bootlooping? I've encountered massive screen flickering issues with mine, put me off LG phones for a while.

      • Never any screen flickering issues, and not full-blown bootloop but I've had consistent battery problems across multiple batteries (4+) and factory resets. Phone dies at 30-50% battery randomly which has been annoying me for the last few months. It's a shame because I really liked the phone and annoying because I can't zero in on, or fix, the problem
