Is this a bolt on upgrade for my Integra? i have some radiator issues

  • +5

looks like a gonad protector for a transformer

      • Off topic, but what is that blue Gigabyte branded heatsink looking thing?

        • That'd be the motherboard heatsink.

        • Southbridge heatsink

      • +2

And I thought my Hyper 212x was a ridiculous size…

  • +1

Good price, seems to be $85+ normally

Not too many competitive high end air coolers around, Noctua start at $90, not worth the premium if you can get this for $65

    • Phanteks are quality

    • +1

Phanteks and Cryorig produce better coolers than Noctua for the price. They may or may not be still better than this. (CM coolers are quite overrated IMO in this day and age)

      • +1

If only someone other than PCCG stocked them in Australia. Add shipping and things get murky.

  • Does it support forced induction? Also will it void my insurance?

    • +1

      Instant 5kW power gain.

  • Hey rep. Got any unifi poe switch deals coming up?

    • Hi mate, which model were you after, we may be doing another Ubiquiti deal on OZB soon.

      • what would you recommend for a setup?

        Ubiquiti USG
        Ubiquiti UAP-AC-PRO
        Ubiquiti US-8-150W

      • Ubiquiti UAP-AC-PRO vs UAP-AC-HD?

Large passive coolers can cause clearance issues with taller ram chips so make sure you check your setup before ordering

    • +1

But this isn't a passive cooler. I don't understand your point.

      • +2

The point still stands even though it is not a passive cooler. They are big and care needs to be taken when installing as after you fit that, your ram might not fit anymore. RAM slots could sit too close to cooler.

        Better do your homework beforehand.

        • +3

That's why you should enter your components list into PCPartPicker to check for incompatibility, for any third party cooler, passive or active.

        • @alvian: It's a good suggestion for sure, but I'm fairly sure the pcpartpicker compatibility filter doesnt check physical dimensions. Especially for things like height clearance of CPU coolers on particular motherboards. Most cooler manufacturers don't even list these specs.

Here's a thread where a PCPP staff member confirms this: https://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/36007-compatibility-fi…

Again please let me know if you're having trouble understanding my point.. sometimes I don't express myself clearly. :)

      • Oops my mistake! Thanks for pointing it out.

        Here's my point, reworded:
Large CPU coolers can cause height clearance issues with taller ram chips so make sure you check your setup before ordering.

If you still don't understand it let me know which words you're having trouble with and I'll try to explain in more detail. :)

For some reason it looks like Halo 3: ODST, what is it ?

    • As above, it's a transformer mirkin.

  • Too late. Accidentally +.

Big neg from me. V8 GTS is false advertising. I thought finally a deal for my car.

    Grrrrr damn you!!!!!
