  • Fancy Pants amber Ale seems to be 4 cans for $15 from the picture so beware ordering online. I'll have to give all of the 6 for $15 Mountain Goats a try this month. Hightale and SUmmer ale are the same price a slab as Fancy Pants and yet they're both 6 for $15?

showing as 6 cans when I look on the site

Fancy Pants are sold in 6 packs. you can buy them in 6 packs on the website

I stand corrected, could only see a picture of 4 cans and a comment in the review saying 4.

all good bro :) it was confusing for sure.

Summer Ale and Fancy Pants are both 6 pack cans, and the cans are 375mL (bottles of Steam Ale and Pale Ale are 330mL).

Drinking the summer ale now, and life is so wonderful.

    • Two Birds Golden Ale x 6 $14

…havent had this for awhile….really enjoyed it when i drank it last

Two Birds Sunset Ale is $14, my DM page says Golden Ale still $21.99. Sunset Ale looks more interesting though.

      • They are both very good beers. I recommend

  • Has anyone tried Savanna Dry Premium Cider?

I'll buy a few of the beers. Thanks!

    • yes its pretty terrible. almost always the cheapest cider there (aside from that weird one in the white can)

      • I'll pass then and stick to Coldstream or Mercury. Thanks.

      • Unless you're friends with South Africans. Nostalgia/patriotism > flavour

      Atrocious cider. Steer clear.

2 birds and Mountain goat is great for the price.

nice to see some quality Craft on the monthly specials again

+1 mate. Been waiting for that. James squires, cricketers arm and gage roads are all nice but mountain goat, feral, 2 birds, white rabbit etc are in a different level.

      • +1

hopefully now we'll get some little Creatures or 4pines next month (hey i can dream right!)

        • +2

I have a friend who works at 4 pines, they can buy a case for $50. Can't complain there

        • @chowmanly:

          get me some! :O

          @chowmanly:

I used to work at a wine company that filled big 9 litre bottles, there would always be left over wine in the machine after bottling a big tank and we'd take home a half filled bottle. Usually between 3 to 7 or 8 litres. Red or White. Not beer, but back then craft beer was non-existent so wine was the more varied style.

Lovely!!! Looking forward to getting some fancy pants mountain goat!

Disappointing to see the prices of the 6 packs slowly creeping up.

Boycott these until they are back to $10

    • +2

When have $60-70 slabs ever had 6 pack specials for $10 ? Not in the last year that i've seen. It's like saying "Boycott DM unless Little Creatures are a $10 6pack monthly special" Might be more of an issue if only 1 mountain goat variety was $15, but the whole range is open.

      • +2

White Rabbit was $10 very early on. I don't expect it to come back at that price.

        • Thats an amazing price. But how long ago? Inflation would bring it up to around 12 or 14$ if it was a few years ago?

        • @johndemonik: It was Nov 2014.

    • +1

you can get 6 pack SOL for $10

boycott over, but i'll buy the more expensive $15 pack

      • If you don't like Sol and you only have $10 then you're SOL

Thanks. Effectively got a mixed slab for $56. Fancy pants, steam, 2 birds and Monteith's. Edit: $51.16 after cash back and discounted wish cards.

  • I will get Summer Ale as it is interesting and invigorating like Stone & Wood Pacific Ale.
Also will get the Fancy Pants cans as it has an indisputable 92% Rate Beer rating https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/mountain-goat-fancy-pants-ambeā€¦

From reading Mountain Goat beer reviews, Organic Steam Ale is light bodied and bland, Pale Ale is too safe (possible Asahi influence), and the Hightail Ale has no spectacular defining qualities. Will give those three a miss even at $15.

  • How does this work? I clicked the deal, was shown the member price, and was instructed to sign up and log in for member prices. I did that, but the price in the cart and checkout is still the non-member price. No help whatsoever on the website.. Is there some other hoop I need to jump through?

    • Shouldn't be any other hoop. Try adding it to your cart from the My Dan Murphy's website.

Thanks, should have reported back. Cleared browser cache and tried again and it worked.
