  So its now free, but what's the story with the in-app purchases?

  Have they always been there, or have they changed their strategy to make it pay to win.

  Thanks for posting the deal and I've downloaded the game (plus vote given), but disappointed to see the in-app purchases on a game apparently worth $4.49 normally.

  Edited: So reading into it a little more, the in-app purchases are extra content (the game itself is marketed as a "10 hour quest").

  • Warrior starter pack, Rogue starter pack, Mage starter pack… all $1.49 each.
  • Hint Guide $1.49.

  Very highly rated by a lot of different sites. Just hope I don't get hooked… my OzBargain blood refuses to pay for apps.

    I think it's fine to pay for an app, but it's the IAPs that can be off putting, especially those pay to win ones.
