The taste is really "different"
I bought some made in Denmark one's from the reject shop the other day and they tasted rather week compared to the Australian version. I wonder if these are the same.

Nope, not a single one. Have you ever had medicine? When you were growing up if your parents had got it for you when you were sick, you would realise how much it tastes like it. You should Google "Does Dr. Pepper tastes like medicine?" I'm not the only one.

Yes this one is using cane sugar while the original Dr Pepper uses high fructose corn syrup.
You can also find American made Dr pepper and cherry coca cola at some Coles near British & south Africa sections. And the American Dr pepper is usually cheaper than the British ones (normal price $1.90 vs $2.20).
