In my experience getting very few updates applies to all android tablets except maybe the Nexus. I think the most updates i ever got was 2. Really annoying as the Samsung Tab 10.1 2014 was a brilliant device.
Exactly. Brilliant hardware. Rubbish software. Hence why I stick to Nexus/pixel devices for Android
Yeah, i wanted too, but whenever i have been in the market the Google equivalent device has just been too inferior hardware wise. Anything coming out this year? I'm still using the above as my tab of choice 3 years on.
Really not a huge deal if you use a tablet to surf the net or for media consumption. I've got a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet from 2014, and it's still great, even though it's running on Android 4.4.2.
