What dates are you seeing those fares for?

Took a while to search, but I finally see it in this link:
    https://www.zuji.com.au/specials/international

    Travel dates:
    24 Apr - 21 Jun & 06 Jul - 08 Aug 17

    • Also for 09 Oct - 15 Nov 17.

  • It's going to be very humid around that time.

    • HK is usually either hot & humid or cool & wet, temperate sunny weather is not their forte!

      • Yea, not something Australians are used to.

        • That's not entirely right. The Top End and North Queensland are quite hot and humid too

        • @freakthe:

          Fair enough. Most* Australians.

it's crazy to see beijing fares are cheaper than HK while both being with Qantas…
perhaps it's a supply and demand thing rather than distance?

    • Beijing is a brand new route for Qantas and are arguably promoting the service with cheap fares?

    • Brand new route + a lot of competition = low prices

  • unless you want humid and hot, otherwise i reckon to avoid travelling to HK these periods.

  • So going in April to HK Disneyland with a 3 year old is hot/humid unbearable or should still be nice?!

    • +1

      Should be nice.

I think it should be ok but it was 24 deg this time last week and 11 at the moment. It can vary a bit from averages.

  • full cost carrier = full service carrier + low cost carrier?

  • Website generating "your itinerary has been changed" across many dates, in 3 different browsers. Will quote price, but doesn't allow to finalise booking.

  • Virgin announced new HK route starting July
Prices expected to be announced in April
