50
PPCOND50

Spotted this codeword at a student day and thought someone may find it useful. I tried it on a couple of different trips and it worked. Valid until 31st March.

So like 1% off. Not really a bargain imo.

Still cash off for an Ozbargainer. If you're going to buy a trip, you're going to go for the $50 off over nothing.

      • The value that someone gets out of these tours is very subjective. I've never done one but many who have mention it as a highlight of their youth.

However, it's easily double the cost of organising your own travel around Europe. If you really wanted to skimp, you wouldn't be on a contiki or the like in the first place.

That being said, this will help someone who was already going to go anyway

        • I've done them when I've travelled solo and wanted a break from organising my own stuff + want to be around the same people for a week or so, rather than new people every night.

I've also done them with aquaintances that I didn't know if I'd travel well with on our own.

I've made lifelong friends through these tours.

Definitely agree that it's not budget travelling, but you can get so much more out of them that organising your own travel can't give you. That being said, you can get so much out of organising your own travel that these tours can't give you, so I'm an advocate for a bit of both =)

Oh and for anyone considering it first time,
please note: contiki have a whole bunch of "optionals" that are kinda just gonna happen. Add all these up and assume you'll do them all =p

Only the rare ones that remember it…

        • I did one nearly 10 years ago. I did a 'premium' tour or something like that and stayed in decent hotels the whole time (I will never set foot in a hostel). Don't think I could of done it cheaper by myself when you factor 1 month of bus transfers and meals.
