Cashback for this was 10% yesterday until 9pm AEST. I didnt bother posting as it was already 8.35pm by the time I saw it. Still a great deal though.

  • Premium Account sounds new

internally it has room for another drive so you can add a 2tb spindle drive in addition to the 256gb ssd. so for people who don't have much living space or a study it's an ideal pc ….. easy to pack away so you get your dining table back but big enough if you add an extra drive that you can store music some videos and backup your phone.

a lot of people don't have the space for a pc and monitor eg apartment dwellers so these laptops can be decked out cheaply and provide the same functionality but be packed away when not needed.

I would like a way to do this too.

I registered using the following link: https://www3.lenovo.com/au/en/aupremium/gatekeeper/showpage?…

Used my work email address, not sure if there's any restrictions.

Edit: tried using my personal email and received the error "Oops! You need a special account to login to this store. If you need help, please call us the phone number at the top of the page."
Looks like it's restricted to certain accounts. Could try calling up using the number on the page (1300 557 073).

You can only access the 'premium' price if your company supports employee discounts recognised by Lenovo

  • starting at 2.3 KG LOLLLLLLLLLL

  • tried to create a premium account by making up some details about my friend working from ANZ as my company isn't supposed; he mentioned if i can gather my "friends" details he could do f&f promotion for me and match the price…

  • The E470 is available for much cheaper, but not sure if it's better value.
