Went into my local Dick Smith store, and picked up a copy of DJ Hero for the Xbox 360. Prices were $25.00 for all consoles brand new (sealed).
I have added a receipt for anyone out of the area trying to price match.

It says it may be imperfect stock. I did query that after the receipt was printed out (Dick Smith don't have the best condition game boxes) i was assured it was still new. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, the game disc is sealed and has the plastic wrapping.
was the box marked down or was it still marked $49.98 and then rang up cheaper?
They had the price crossed out with a red texter from $49 to $25 on all the floor stock and i was told it was the managers special. The guy at the counter had to call someone else who scanned a card wrapped around his neck.
So this may apply only on a store to store basis.
In my experience, at DSE manager's specials/store-specific clearances carry that notice (or one like it, I can't remember the exact wording).
not shenanigans, DSE quite often have different prices in different stores, it's down to the manager

I made my purchase at 12:00pm today so i am not sure how many would be left. There were 2 shelves half full (for all consoles)at that time. I suggest you call ahead to avoid disappointment or you can try price matching i guess.
Trade in value is $32 at EB.
I paid like $50 at DSE Frankston (Power Centre) on Friday. Got the second last Wii one, there was some PS3 or 360 versions. JB Hi-Fi is also selling it for $50 but had no Wii copies at Frankston.
