02

With a VPN in place, your security online is guaranteed. As it is, your internet service provider knows about all of your online comings and goings, and malicious 3rd party entities have the ability to glean a frightening amount of personal data off of you with relative ease.

Indeed, if you’re someone who is regularly using unsecured wireless networks in 2016 and you’re not using a VPN, you might want to seriously reconsider your approach to security. At Google I/O last year, developers named security their top concern for the coming years, and headlines of vulnerabilities and identity theft are proliferating.

Normally users fork over a monthly subscription for a VPN, since these services have to be maintained by servers all over the world to ensure anonymity. Normally $599?!

Oh wow thanks for that laugh!

    • I know right, way too cheap to be legit. I call shenanigans. /s

      • Would be nice if you take a time to review the service before you continue with the negative comments, I can give you a free trial to the service if you want.

I'm not questioning the service, just the ridiculous 'normal' lifetime price.

Though now you've got me on the subject I find the fact you're using a template privacy policy reasonably concerning as it's unlikely you've had a serious consultation with a lawyer about your responsibilities under local laws, i.e. in the countries you plan to operate in. For example are you 100% certain you're able to legally operate in the areas you do without keeping logs? I'll admit it's a common practice to use template legal documents but I don't think that makes it any less of a problem…

Taking a look at your server list you appear to be largely using Amazon Web Services for hosting, with the exception of London and Amsterdam. Aside from being one of the least privacy concerned hosts in the known universe they're worse than Hitler when it comes to dealing with repeated abuse reports, which you will get a lot of as a VPN operator. You might want to move off their service before they do it for you. They also have exorbitant outbound data prices (i.e. upload from your network to the rest of the internet).

You've left a highly sensitive, unauthenticated, service that should never be accessible to the outside world running on at least a couple of your hosts. I've PM'd you the details of this.

  • This is just spam getting posted at every corner of the internet

  • As it is, your internet service provider knows about all of your online comings and goings, and malicious 3rd party entities have the ability to glean a frightening amount of personal data off of you with relative ease.

And a single VPN provider is different in this case how….?

    • Most VPN providers that do not keep logs makes all the difference.

  • Normally US$599

once again someone lies to ozbargain
    you get a neg.

  • one of the best reviewed VPNs around

https://thatoneprivacysite.net/vpn-comparison-chart/ doesn't list this provider but they do compare 177 other VPN providers…

    • Its a new VPN company, soon, Vrois VPN would show up on most comparison websites. Servers are Top-Notch and of good speed. you don't get to know if its not tried.

Well, put your money where your mouth is, offer blanket free trials (1 week / month / whatever) to OzBargain members, and earn a reputation for the product, instead of demanding others trust the spurious claims of a new user, allthewhile whilst trying to silence any perceived criticism.

I can assure you, keep that nonsense up & you and your company's reputation around here will be garbage in no time.

"VROIS Doubles Your Internet Speed, 4x Faster"

Um, this in itself is a complete lie and doesn't even make sense.
